All time high record temps predicted across the United States for the next 10 days.
I know this has nothing to do with climate, just reminding us all to keep hydrated.

DIRTBALL.
There is no markABOVE the high point set in 1998 for HADCru, RSS and UAH. None!
So? The 2000s were hotter than the 90s. The 90s were hotter than the 80s. 98 was an exceptionally hot year.
Overall though, it's getting hotter.
Fer chrissake, are you really this stupid?
Or just incredibly f*#king hard headed, obstinate, and wilfully ignorant?

AGAIN, the Chief has stated that he is on a government pension and health insurance.
Therefore, he says, he is concerned that maybe someday he might have to pay some sort
of carbon tax.
Chief, I suspect you will be long dead before such a tax makes its way down from corporate polluters to individuals.

Speaking of flippers:
CHIEF:
What are you all gonna say in 20 or 30 or 40 or 50 years when the warming trend is no longer?
WESCHRIST:
So now you are able to predict the climate 30 years from now with confidence?
CHIEF'S RESPONSE:
idiot
I am doing nothing of sort. But you and the IPCC are. Thus you just called yourself and "idiot".
Your words, not mine.

Without the proliferation of this shet, you do not receive a paycheck.
Chief just makes up his "facts" and does not care whether they are true. So he assumes that other people are dishonest as well.

ED:
The disparity between all FIVE reporting entities from 1975 just shows that the data is not consistent. Far too many adjustments (on the downward sidemay I add) variables in this game to even come close to call the score. We are only in the first five minutes into this game and you all are already calling a winner and crowning em with the trophy.
But not one of you can see that cuz ya'll are too enthralled in this shet. Most I assume because it is a part of or is your livelihoods & profession, CHILOE & WESCHRIST. Without the proliferation of this shet, you do not receive a paycheck.
Blow harder, Chief Windbag!!!

You just confirmed his elitist term. I will let him know that tomorrow when I see him.
You say "elitist" like it's a bad thing.

The shrinks I know don't really care about the term. It's become accepted in the general lexicon. They care more about results. I'm not exactly sure what you care about, Chief, other than asserting your opinion as fact whatever the question might be.
As for the common folks you worry about... they'll pay one way or the other eventually through higher fuel prices, more expensive food, etc. etc. This ain't the Dark Ages and seems to me if we want to make the landing softer we should use our tools (including measurements and statistics) to make the best decison possible.
I used to be a Luddite when I was younger but I think I've gotten a little more perspective over time.

You Warmist have been duped and don't want to admit that the hockey stick graph is simple fiction.
Its just noise completely within the margin of error for temperature data and is thus unreliable.

carbon black ie soot from human activities is the explanation for glacier
melt back not warmer temps.

Gary -Albedo change via the sierra wave mechanism is the likely culprit. Palisade ice cores have abundant central valley dust and soot from Ag burns and prescribed burns in the NF's. Temperature rise is not the cause.

And your still skiing/SBing on the Hill and the Sierra BC lakes are still frozen solid above 12K.
Hey The Chief, have you heard about the Massive Heat Wave taking over the eastern part of our country? How come you don't write about *that*?
Or the record drought in Texas?
Oh never mind.

Chief....there are still frozen lakes above tree line in the sierra...? this must mean we are sliding into an ice age... Judging by the photo of you next to your truck your navy uniform must have had an opening over your heart for your hand to slip into.....
