Neebee, my cousin got married in Door County, WI, so we decided to do a counter-clockwise
circumnavigation of Lake Michigan to wind up in Wisconsin. Michigan is awesome!

hey there say, wow, reilly... neat... yes, the trees here are wonderful!! i miss mountains, of course, but--i missed those in south texas, too, :))
once, on bus, to UP, i DID go the wisconsin route, too... saw DEER everywhere, along roads, there...
say, if you get out here again, let me know, :)
well, got to get busy now, may be back later... :)
coffee time now, SO:
oooops, moosedrool--it will be hard-core neebee-talk now,
so good thing i will be SETTING my face to be a'talking to the critters here,
or you might get lost in the conversation-shuffle, as it settles around here...

it was 40s all this week at 8k feet at my house. The moss in the creeks is already green.

PTPP: Drunkenly chanting dirty songs at college parties used to be one of the "rites of passage."
I think I don't want to re-create those moments around a campfire at climbing areas.

hey there say, fritz...
so then, it is nearly 4 am...
did not get much painting done, as, due to the ol' blizzard, i spent the time on the phone (stuffed in my outer coat pocket) SHOVELING THE OL'
blizzard out my driveway--good thing, too, as, come morning, it'd be worse, due to the snowplough/snowplow mess as it goes by...
and the rest of the snowdrift, blowing over...
oddly, there was a car that had chosen to drive the road directly moving north of me--it got stuck, but NOT in what one would expect:
it's usually corner-fill--this time they were stuck in thigh-high snow--from the drift-blow, :O took a guy and his snowplow friend to move enough snow away for that car to unshovel and back out, to the main road here...
well--so, here is--coffee time:
friday night-into saturday posting while drunk coffee, at
'coffee station' has warmed me, :)
now--what to do??? what to do???
could still paint, being that all that fresh air sure woke me up
even more so :O wow--could even clean the house, ;)
but my outer-hip hurts now, where the nerve gets pinched:
so--i'll just do the wash...
wash clothes... and BASIC wash for to start the art, :)
now then, WHERE is that coffee, ;)
night all...

You really *have* to join us on the El Cap Bridge this spring, for coffee or beers, depending on whether it is before or after Changeover Time.
Note: Changeover Time occurs rather early on the bridge...

i keep wondering when i might get out that way again...
my dad is very bad-off in the hospital now, :(
not sure if i may get out that way, due to things going on there, or not... so far, my mom and i figure it is best to wait it out... also:
never have anyone to watch the critters, but a gal from out of town, suddenly showed up and just may be around, due to HER family health issues--
just not sure... but, if i ever get out that way, perhaps mark, or matt--my brothers, just might be able to bring me around to see folks...
so many of you all to see! all up the coast, too, :))
well, seems i am always saying 'got to get off line' these days... but:
just a lot of concerns about my dad, so i keep thinking about him, instead of good things to post, for fun, or, encouragement to others--so, here i go: off to do some sketches... :))

Snow, rain, wind, & bare ground again here in Choss Creek.
Heidi & I sustained ourselves on a little Cline Ancient Vines Zin------and a great little CA screw-top cab.
OOOPs-drunk edit via Heidi-it was a Columbia Valley Cab---& she liked the Zin better!
Yeah? like I'm not gunna rat that winery out to you dooodz.

Checking in on Saturday morning with an Irish cream and espresso. Carolan's beat Bailey's in a blind taste test, and it's cheaper, too!
Had a nice margarita last night from a tequila bottle poached from an all inclusive in Cozumel a while back. The maids left a couple bottles sitting in the hallway the morning we flew home, and they asked to come home with me. Stolen fruit always tastes best!!

protip: starting a conversation about shooting a dog isn't the best way to get in my good graces. kinda like starting a "rape is sometimes okay" with a militant feminist. i don't give a f*#k if you grew up on a farm or not, shooting a dog is psychopathic behavior.
