What are you talking about it’s the lighting. If I say it loud/often enough will it work? I did not think so.

Friday at Mt. Woodson...
My memory of Dr. Sprok on the top of Ride the Lightning
(he got off pretty quickly!).
Scuffy in Big Grunt, this was Friday...
Mike getting it done on Werner's Wish
And Jaybro contemplates a wider way to grant Werner's Wish
Scuffy works it on Jaws with Jaybro and bajaandy looking on
Jaybro takes a lap too,
Scuffy wonders what's for breakfast anymore... on Cornflake
Daphne doing the challenging roped ascent of Baby Robins after getting it as a boulder problem
and bajaandy sending in fine style

Lynne, You are the BEST! No, really! Really! I know you are! Can't wait to climb with you in April and/ or on our chick road trip.

Thanks for illusiondweller for running with an idea, inspired,
and for Lynne, a great hostess and generous friend, and Ron Gomez for being enthusiastic on putting a video together for the entertainment, it was mega-fun
It was wonderful to meet everyone I hadn't before, and to get a chance to meet old and new friends... wished it could have gone on for a week.

How cool to have so many climbers, old friends and good people on the hill (my backyard crag) on the same day! Wish I coulda hooked up with old buddies Todd Gordon n Dick Cilley, but our paths never crossed. And bvb managed to avoid me (by laying in the pond and breathing thru a reed till i left the area, i later found out).
What made my day was the unexpected treat of hanging out with Mr Jim Bridwell, possibly the greatest rock climber who ever lived, who regaled me with firsthand accounts of stuff i had only read about in "The vertical World of Yosemite". The first ascent of the Pacific Ocean wall, finishing the Compressor route on Cerro Torre without adding any more bolts (and with only one ice tool)....anything I asked about evoked detailled memories laced with sage observations and philosophical musings on fear, risk and ambition and life. Thanks Jim.
And thanks Gary for making that possible. Oh, i secretly climbed after 430 too, heh.

Yeah, I wish I could have climbed after 1630 too but had to take the little one home to Mom so I could head out to Lynne's for the get together.
