The Benjamin Button.

How to get from "now" or the bottom of a trip report page

to "then" or back to the forum.

http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/2689726/New-button-desperately-needed

It took a brilliant person to observe and identify the problem's solution.

A nic shot of Hetch-hetchy ??- From J rigg thanx man wow

Trade offs !?
I saw the 'Forum' button and its pals all in a row in light blue - so clickable - from the get go.
but true to form I did not spew or spray, or call for reform. . .

and I placed no bolts in the face.

Seems times 'round here are fallin'off the raz yor sh!t posts or is it that I stay away from the fray by not clicking any BSButtons?

The stoke is there -
here comes the circuses
of cross goals ;
clean up the park
and have fun
climb some
and press some flesh
get to know the who of who's said what, the what and why'd you say that!
Is that a thing that happens at F lift? Or co we all just forget that stuff?

Crickets & Cicadas

Then in an email I was asked why I used such crapy gear , a railroad spike, to protect the line I put up out at Gertrude's Nose .

The answer and this, to another specific but still vaguely insulting question led to this I part :

.......Gunks ? Hmmmm? Well I left in 2000 or there a 'bouts,
There are some aid lines that Kieth Uhl pioneered. Before you get rid of your aid gear there are some third and forth ascents around that might be in your reach.(6'8'?)to free.
Straighten out or just clean off the cobwebs of.

Ask Frank. . . He might know?. if not I doubt that anyone else even realizes something goes through that roof,
The name?, what was the name of the guy that was turning out all those R rated climbs ?
Was It George Meyers?, ugh? I can't check now but along with Kieth and I he checked out a lot of lines. If they were aid able , not free climbing targets he told us or some one like Gottlieb and that would filter to 'Lobes' ( we were all lobes back then). Hang- Dog Flyer, was one, Keith and I climbed it to the middle of the traverse, then turned up the volume.
Stringing hooks (to a belay, to keep the hooks in place, he also placed a knife-blade or two) then standing in aiders he went sixty feet! Do not try that at home ! .Cheers

The thing left of - lost world Direct - is called - Hearing Bells, Lahnman freed it! It has a reach; your crux(cam hook), for more vertically normal the crux is hanging there at all.(a3+?), small lightening bolt, like feature, crossed opposing hands. . . Locked in . . , a thumb hook left (or right I can't remember ), followed by more. C2 or hard . . . .to that iron cross thing just as 'Your' head hits the lip I am still two moves below the iron cross @-5'4'it seemed impossible . . . .

I'm gonna go beg for desktop time. . .

Did not know of this little park's existence till today. It only opened last year, though.

These look like some good rides. I'd recommend March and April as the best months. Might find some mushrooms under the cowflops.

Hussong's is still open (since 1892), as is a significantly upgraded version of the restaurant across the street.

Ranked #52 of 65 Attractions in Ensenada

You may be able to recognize Tad in this one.

It used to get very crowded and we would sneak in through these side windows when they shut down the front door. This would be at the end of the Newport to Ensenada race.

They did not rank the bathrooms in the survey above.

Eateries that rock with generations of fans hmmmm that might make a segway. . . [Click to View YouTube Video] not the contraption marley pass me that joint . . .
[Click to View YouTube Video] well the day was wrong and thanx Lonnie (??another, Not Lollie ??) from Scandinavia too,
She called and told the tale that it was this weekend and not next {}!!
What to do . . . full stop no Garbage Museum , in Hartford. , MO' CLIMBING , THOUGH!!
and so on the hunch this may be a great gig. of course this, in the noon day sun will be fun.

A slice of what i had imagined my life would be it will be like,
as stark a reality, from the truth, as the time and view of the two videos[Click to View YouTube Video] should be neat to see my kids outdoors digging this! It makes me as proud as them sending climbs.
Sending climbs happens with more frequency than outdoor sunny live music. Though neither happens near often enough.

this is the long but less "windy" of the sound
[Click to View YouTube Video] this is the "windy" stuff, although, it is the second choice.[Click to View YouTube Video] oh no way that was way to long I don't have enough if they play too much of this stuff,[Click to View YouTube Video] can i have some more. . . ?
another TakeFive? well ? no lets just let it roll. . .
are you ready for some football?
still no camera but a pack of dubious quality from black diamond,
more when the day is done

I've been going back to bed alnight, the kids get up before first light. We make Joe and get the two rugrats off to school buses on the corner.
I really would rather drive 'em, at least the high school girl.

Then when it is just past 7 am the wife if she has gotten up,
and I; up all night most likely, crawl back to separate beds.
Some years ago we found that sleeping alone with no one else's breath getting in the way of meditation - sleep and dream state awareness is more vivid relaxing and leaves out any chance for my desires to be met,
Bo hiss
but I need to sleep when ever I can, I'm a growing boy - ha know ha gno me . . .
Haha I'm wide of waist but not wasted yet ha gno me no Hannold
Neither

The Dan Brubeck Quartet was awesome
they found the groove and smoked the place,
and Ho what a place

three hundred folks at most, I forgot to ask.
The tiny venue , perfect sunny not ht early fall in New England
The band was a mix of the Brothers Brubeck band with just Dan.
No Flutiest, the key board did the job, of all the wind instruments
I missed the presence of the Saxophone. There was full accompanying sound
and some sort of 'dub-step,sound effect called "Rondo".
That added a mix of Turkish brim beats in a9/ 10th? rhythm. The whole band was hot.

The show was 3 hours or a bit more.
They closed the show
(to the entitled few, who might have missed,)
( how great a gig they had just been lucky enough to have heard and seen,)
with the brands signature piece

Take Five,

the crowd was already done though
and many of the people were not clapping wooting or cheering?
They were crowding to get in line to take a shuttle bus away from this idyllic garden.

I went and talked to the sound man,
Cooter, he is the regular sound engineer for
The Dark Star Orchestra! I'm min tight if I want to go to shows I have a number to call!
It is like that 1st drink to a alcoholic - just one is not enough but going down that road is never slow, quickly It returns one to the roady dilemma - staying up all night after shows waking up after 3 pm in an endless string of motels and parking lots, not good for a family man.

Fuller was probably the only cat who could have kept up with McQueen, had he wanted to play that game.
