Fritz is anal?! I think knott! Dude - you are as oral as they come! You just *think* you *should* be anal because you're Cherman. Give it up, embrace your oral-ness.
Anal people like jstan above - they just don't "get it". Hey jstan [yes, I know who you are] - I'll nuke the thread, but you'll need to mail me a really fine bottle of wine. Then of course, I'll just start another one!
OK, so get this - after ten plus years of being a full-on dirtbag, I now HAVE A JOB.
Yep, the brokerage firm where I used to place all my insurance and funds business has brought me back home, has given me back all of my clients that their erstwhile office manager "assigned" to herself, and given me an office. I move all my client files, trophy plaques and El Cap photos into the office on Monday morning.
I am trying to imagine the looks on everyone's faces when I show up after having been away for so long. So many of the same brokers and office staff are still there. It will be like Coming Home.
Enjoying a Chilean Cab with my dad tonight. My mom won it at some seniors' get together yesterday, but she doesn't drink. So they left it in my capable hands.

Once again we have strayed from our mentor's PTPP's rules for this thread.
It isn't too late to get back on track.
Topic Author's Original Post - Jan 8, 2010 - 05:27pm PT
Rules:
1. Your current consumption
2. At least one inflammatory comment **
3. Why you are drunk and typing on McTopo instead of doing something worthwhile, like driving to the crag.
Sooooooo-
Tonight!
In order to make Beef Stroganoff, you need some red-wine. I'm sure most of the current two bottle of H3 Cab went into the Strog;)
What's up with jstan having a sanctimonious bastard attack and asking PTPP to kill this thread?
It does not appear that he posts only to climbing topics: http://www.supertopo.com/inc/view_forum.php?dcid=Oz0-Pzw2PCk,
As for why I am not planning a climbing jaunt this weekend, and am instead at home drinking?
Let me assure you all: It isn't the sub-zero temps in the Northern Rockies, or the big snowstorm that comes in tonight.
I am trying to help Heidi finish up the inside of our new garage & workshop!
My story-------and I'm sticking to it!
Sluuurp-------& best to all!

My dad made me a rum and eggnog. Very Canadian. He forced me to heat it in the microwave. It's all his fault. I want to be just like him when I grow up!

So you are not really posting drunk unless you post some stupid sh1t, then delete, then decide it was pretty good and repost, then the next morning delete again.
That is quality stuff.
Layer Cake Shiraz from down under...yummy.

I think it is time to nuke this weird thread.
jstan, what!!!!!!
Visiting this thread is like going to your favorite neighborhood bar: no ferns, no fancy $14 artisanal cocktails, no pickup vibe. Just a bunch of familiar faces making small talk and hanging out.

Well, I am back at work. I can't believe it myself. It is like coming home after a decade. Feels good! I feel as though the stars are aligning for me in a big time way.
Something else is brewing, knott sure what. But it [or perhaps she] is going to be amazing.
In the meantime, I am drinking a Beast beer with a little bit of lime in it, to pretend it's Mexican. I'll be drinking Mexican beer for real on Tuesday, on the Yucatan en route to Belize. Woo-hoo!

Whoa, Skully, that sends me back to my Prudhoe Bay days! Er, make that daze.
I told the wife that glaciers do move, see?
Then I showed her the new stairs and all I got was The Look.
What, this ain't gonna cut it? WTF?
Looks like it's worth a bottle of Chimay to me, doesn't it?
