Wholely Schist!
Inspired by the last weekend of wonderful fall weather in Idontno----and a bottle of St. Michelle Cab----Heidi and I are off to City of Rocks tomorrow -----or Sunday morning.
Only a 2 hour drive for us!
Woohoo!
Drunk plans are the best!

Not drunk yet, but working my way there. Came up short on a big contract today. Good thing beer fixes everything, at least for a little while.

Fecking Hell. Dead starter.
Found a 1.75 Liter bottle of Canadian Missed for 14 bucks, add some Sierra Mist (real sugar) and I am brewing up a nice hangover.
Feel better already, though.
Hope the shop project goes smoothly, Fritz!

Working on some H3 Cab and some Zin. Another weather cool-down comes in tomorrow afternoon, but we had a great short trip to City of Rocks after deciding to go there on Saturday during our last Drunk Friday night.
Saturday night toast at our Bivy site in Almo.
The view was good and the bed was good.
OH!
We did some climbing too.

Hmmm, only two beers so far. Gonna go for a 6km run, then I can earn myself one more.

In Santa Monica on business from the East Coast. Picked up some Racer 5 and "$2 and change" Chuck's Sauvignon Blanc at the local Trader Joe's. Regarding the Racer 5, can you carry the hops thing too far? The Chuck's wasn't bad at all.

Creemore Springs - a lovely micro-brew from up Collingwood way. Close to the crags where I made lots of First Ascents. You know, when I used to free climb? ;)

Hi. enjoy the west coast -- cant beat the weather... hope you get to enjoy our climbing.... Go to Stoney Point. :>) ... its the best.
Racer 5 is one of the more "hopped up" brews for sure. I recommend you try the Sumpin' Sumpin' ale.......My Wife hates really hopped up ales, but she loves the Sumpin....

In which lifetime did this happen? *confused*
Had a couple Kaliber N/A tonight after teaching a gear class to our latest group of SAR volunteers. When I was in Colorado last weekend, I found a place that sold the Amber version of the Clausthauler N/A which is quite good, has one of the better ratings for N/A brews. Have two left, taking them to Josh so I can share one with Mr. H. Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.
