Facelift 09
Sunday afternoon.
All's relativly quiet, most have left, there were goodbyes in the am, Ed H. snapped away capturing our mugs in the morning.
Anna and Lynne are discussing wardrobe options; Anna insists, "We have to wash our feet!" Lynne agrees.
I came back to camp after a ride, sat down, and from the biggie van, emerges Lynne. Dressed for the opera she was. Intently heads for the bear box, opens it, and chucks a huge plastic bag of empties (rattle rattle clank clank) over her shoulders and heads for the recycle bin.
Hauling a load of junk, and ready for the wrap up party.
I"m tellin ya, the girl is stout and determined!!!

Thank you for my early a.m. laugh here, Joey !!! (8:30 a.m. where I am)

Lest the Taco get the wrong impression.....heaven forbid.... these were not all my mine. :DD. I collected the empties every late night after campfire, and early am, to avoid ranger conflict this year. Lucky Pink and our Camphost W. will vouch for me I'm sure !

Your post is a timely one in another aspect. I was taking some time this morning to meditate on the fact that exactly two years ago today, Dan left this planet for heaven. Reviewing the past two years.....It's been Quite a journey. Immediately after Dan left, I was pretty much a cork on a gigantic ocean.....then my best friend said "start to live lynne's life part two.....I've got a two year plan for you." I could do that and two years was not insurmountable.

This morning he says to me, "get ready to Live the next two." I've got some great plans."

So Joey, Thank You, for your post, laughter, and the friendship of the Taco Tribe. Peace and Joy today....for really today is what counts. Lynnie

Hi Jaybro, We All did have a blast did we not !!!??? Both of yo have me nailed ! I'm a clothes and shoes kinda gal. You should see the Ivory, short snakeskin (fake I hope)boots with heel (Sartore, Italian) that I scored here in Antwerp. 70E reduced from 700E......yipeee My big European purchase. We're all allowed one, right ?
