Alright my Dude Fogarty is Actually climbing while on the Superblast Diet Challenge.... Nice, Dude...you should get xtra points. :D Say, where are you and what's the climb ? I'm kinda new to all this rock stuff, but trying.

Nature is perfect. Not so me. My tip for eating. Tonight I threw a bunch of chicken and fresh vegetables and Mex seasonings into a huge pot and made like two weeks worth of soup. Freeze in small containers... Yeah ! I'd say Wal la but I don't know how to spell it. heheh. lynnie

I tempted the Sooze with all manner of diet-busting items over the weekend, but no dice.
She even passed on repeated offerings of beer. She hung in there like a champ.

I spent the weekend climbing with Mr. & Mrs. Steelmonkey (on their 12 year anniversary no less).

Friday - Drive up, sit around camp while Greg drank beer and I just watched. No beers or chips and guac for me. I ate nuts or some crap like that. Friday night was a can of soup.

Saturday - Felicia made me scrambled eggs for breakfast. Had a small sandwich on fake low-carb pita bread and for dinner went to Beaver Street Brewery and had salad with again NO BEER. 2 small slices of bread that Greg guilted me on and the roasted vegetables from his plate.

Climbing at the forks is always hard. No wonder I haven't been there in 3 years. Gag! But fun. Greg loves that place and it was afterall his anniversary.

Sunday - More of Felicia's scrambled Eggs. Supersized Low-carb monster, some water.... maybe some nuts and fruit later before a subway salad for dinner. More nuts and a peice of Feta cheese before dinner.

Sunday included climbing at the Pit. Weather was absolutely perfect and unseasonably cool (yet perfect) for June. Others picked up on that and the place was packed. We jockied around for our handful of routes and got out of there.

Back to work and mid-week snacking. I've decided that I actually do better when out climbing. Less things to tempt me and well, I'm occupied with other things.... like climbing.

Came home, sprinkler timer is broke, lawn looks really dry. Damn.

Down 5.2 from the weigh-in.

I am down 5.5 since weigh-in. No beer, just red wine and avoiding the snickety snacks and pizza, even my son's bday cake, dammit.

No change from yesterday. I was a bit worried, I had a salad for lunch (and leftovers for dinner) but a bit wary as it was giant and had beans, corn, a bit of tortilla and guac on it.

High calorie meals back to back are never good. Don't be fooled just because it's salad. So many restaurant salads are 600 to 800 calories.

Still down 5.2 since weigh in.

Damn.

Well, Sooze, I think you are doing fine...on target and on pace. It's normal to hit a wall about now. Just don't let up even a bit. Hang tough. It's when you think yo not performing you give a little. Know you won't. Cheering for you Gal.:))

Thanks Lynn. Although, I don't think I've hit a wall...moreover, me just consuming more than I burn. Simple math and basic dieting skills are less intake, more output. Or as my silly fake-husband would say, "less Costco....more iron"

Tonight didn't help. I blew off the gym (yet again) and went to Costco. I wanted to pick up a $4.99 roasted chicken and some diet coke.

Came across Mrs. May's Ultimate Crunch on the Snack Isle facing the checkout.

Cracked the package on my way home. It may quite possibly be the best thing I've ever tasted. Totally YUMMMMYYYYYY but like all treats are intended for small doses. I need to put these one of those candy dispensers that only dump out XX amount per serving. I can't be trusted with a giant bag.
