I'm planning on being up there either on Wednesday night or Friday night and staying for the following day. My daughter (who hates to camp) is visiting from Las vegas for the week, so my stay will be shorter than I would like. Looking forward to seeing Ed, Jaybro, and the rest of the Cali crew.

Back in Montana....doh! Probably can't make it unless i can find a ride from someone headed that way....radiator crapped out on me.
though i will be back for the month of september....boogaloo part 4?!?!

Lynne, pack up the Bloot (edit and Fluoride and her giant bigbro we'll need that for the Leubben memorial route we will of course have to put up) and hit the road, we can work on your lines, or if worse comes to worse My ex wife the Doctor will be happy to write you a note..

Ah ha! I knew it!
But it wasn't a fixated pinkie that gave you aliens away, J. I noticed this at the JTree WideFest...you, Edzilla, The ScuffMeister, Spyorkie and RussOrilla. You all have the classic Alien Invaders aversion to remaining upright.
When we humans see a big rock in our path, we walk around it, climb over it, or (last resort) crawl beneath it. You aliens, on the other hand, have to go through the thing. And nine times outta ten, you have to go through it upside-down! (See a prime example of this bizarre behavior in the photo of the Scuffy One below.)
Dead-giveaway that you're not from this world, plain and simple.

Okay... It looks like I'm in. Was going to come up ont the 15-16 weekend but I'm with tarbuster and goatboy--I want to hang with the boys. Let's get a posse together. Tar', I can't climb wide stuff for sh1t either so I'll spectate, take pictures, socialize and cook. My only climbing goal is to lead something and place a BigBro in memory of Craig. Got me a colonoscopy scheduled on the 18th so I can't come up 'til the 19th. Let's coordinate. Stitch... you in?

's cool, nobody climbs wyde fer sh#t (well actually i have met some who do..). And I can only imagine that Squat is much harder as a no hands problem. That Craig... (what a great photo!)
But Patrick, radiator issues? Obviously it's time for an air cooled V-dub! Classic all the way.

Tuesday morning Roy and I will be at the pay campground nearby the classy 510OW up thread.
Then I’ll be back Thursday thru Sat/Sun nights, either at the pay campground or East LA or Party Land -
depending on the open space to redneck ratios.
The place is not that big, I’m sure we will be able to sniff each other out and carry on from there.

We already were there August 13. Climbed Horticulture (mrs. museum says "5.6 my ass"), then evacuated cause of a lighting storm. It rained the next day. We left. The place was deserted.
NOTICE: the aeirial ballet started practicing on the 15th and the lines will be up all this week and performances are the 22nd and 23rd. The main area will be packed.
