Amazing--8 years of Obama and basically zero scandals...
24 days of Trump and we got scandals, botched military raids, incompetence, Russian intrigue and corruption pouring out of every facet of his administration...WTF?
This is a f*#king $hit show folks.
It's exactly what I thought it would be--the best reality show ever. It's YUGE !!

His TERM? People are wondering if he'll finish the month of February!
This morning, he actually tweet - I am still unable to type it with a straight face:
This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton's losing campaign.
The bigger they are(scandals) the harder he Tweets. Also this morning:
The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by "intelligence" like candy. Very un-American!
Look - I really WILL feel sorry for Trump if it turns out he is innocent of treason. It would have to be Hell on Earth to be accused of something like this. Of course, it's kinda like the way a lot of young black men feel when they get stopped on the street simply on their way to work, or the store for groceries, and arrested for a robbery or murder that occurred a few blocks away, when they are innocent.
Or a person with the facial appearance of having Middle Eastern ancestry who, simply on the way to work or to the store to buy groceries, gets confronted with a fat white redneck with a gun.....
So, if Trump is innocent, and survives this, hopefully it will give him the empathy to understand what some others have to contend with on a daily basis.
The heat being applied makes he Obama Birther garbage seem kind of quaint by comparison. But then Obama knew the truth of the matter;. I don't think he ever acted out in anger, though. Frustration, disbelief in the persistence of the BS, but anger, no.
People who are guilty of what they are being accused often do react in anger..... just saying.

Once he becomes a liability? Hahahahaha. Trump's been a liability from Day 1. The GOP only lined up behind him when they realized they were stuck with him.

Another gem for the ever thickening pile of:
You can't make sh#t like this up reports.
Senate Republicans are set to repeal an Obama administration regulation that prevents individuals with mental health conditions from purchasing firearms. The Senate vote on a resolution of disapproval to scrap the rule is expected to happen about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The rule, which was implemented in December 2016, extended federal background checks for gun purchases by some Social Security recipients with mental disabilities. The Obama-era measure requires the Social Security Administration to report to the FBI’s background check system those individuals who receive disability benefits and have mental disorders. An estimated 75,000 beneficiaries are affected by the rule.
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/senate-poised-to-repeal-obama-gun-rule/ar-AAmX7ZP?li=BBnb7Kz&pfr=1
It all makes sense to me, since some of the best Republicans are on Social Security & have mental disabilities.

Classic Schadenfreude. I've never understood it.
Why do you feel that kind of pleasure?
Is it a prevailing attitude of LEO?
It's frightening to think that those who are supposed to protect can feel this way.

The constitution says that nobody shall be deprived of their rights without due process of law. Yes, it's "common sense" that somebody with a mental disorder should not be allowed to purchase a gun.
So, there's a simple solution: Convict the person "having" a mental disorder (that's a pretty broad-strokes phrase!) of a crime, or in some other way exercise due process of law to render them legally unfit (which is actually a well-defined phrase), and, voila! You've got them right where you want them and in harmony with the constitution.
What you don't get to do is just wave some "professional's" opinion over them like a magic wand and thereby deprive them of their rights. If that were the case, then we'd ALL (based on what I've seen on these threads, including in my own rants) be in danger of having some "professional" deprive us of our rights.
We are not, and with good reason, solely at the mercy of the mental-health profession.
So, I applaud this Republican action, although not for the reasons you'd initially suppose. I want to see due process rather than mere opinion before we deprive anybody of their rights.

To Jody, in response to his belief that stink bomb executive orders are good governance.
The executive order on emigration:
For the sake of the point, grant that putting a hold on emigration from the seven failed states for 90 days is a good idea--just assume that the current vetting process is not extreme enough--let's also grant that blocking emigrates from Syria is also sensible, since we cannot rely on the Syrian government to vouch for the folks who want to leave.
Let's grant that this needs to be done immediately so as to protect the US from immediate threats of terrorism.
And, let's grant that the President has the authority to protect the U.S.A. from foreign threats. (President's job for cryingoutloud.)
So we are all on board, right. Did I leave anything out?
Then why would our chief-protector-from-immediate-threats-from-foreign-terrorism wilfully issue an order which is unconstitutional? Maybe he forgot to ask anyone what the constitution says about folks who are in the U.S.A. or who are entitled to be in the U.S.A., such as green card holders. This is settled law, for something like 125 years. Folks in the US are protected under the constitution, which means they are entitled to due process.
There is a good article hereYes, illegal aliens have constitutional rights from sevearl years ago (pre-Trump) regarding constitutional protection of non-citizens.
So now, given Trump's extreme unvetted Executive Order, we are now not protected from a serious, immediate terrorist threat.
His response, "We are working on something else."
Overheard in the Oval office:
"Now which of these buttons do I push to blow up bad guys?"
"Excuse me sir, that button calls the wait staff."
"OK. So where is the red button to blow up bad guys?"
"Sir, there is no button. There is a process."
"WTF. A process? Get me a red button and put it right here, on my phone, next to my Twitter app. I'll issue a executive order."

If obamas disastrous and illegal foreign policy's had never been implemented we would not be dealing with Syrian refugees.
Irs hard to claim you care about Syrians when you supported a president that helped destroy their nation. And unlike bushs wars- only obama decided to intervene...with no plan, goal, or strategy.

Sure is interesting to watch people gloat about actions taken by Trump for which they vilified Obama and Hillary. Oh well. It's probably all the democrats' fault.
Though, to be fair, I don't think the Dems are really learning anything from it yet.
Yawn.
