Amyjo, We got Steve's number and Chris spoke with him this morning. She is following up on her Santa Cruz connections and will follow up when she hears back from people.

Hello everyone!
I've spent quite a bit of time with Steve lately. His speech is definitely improving steadily with still a ways to go.
Today he was released from the recuperation facility in Santa Cruz and various amazing friends have participated in getting him to a doctor to get referrals for speech and occupational therapy, checking out a next level of recuperative care facility and giving him a place to land tonight and for the next little while.
There are some extraordinarily generous people in Steve's circle who are stepping forward with options for the next few months. Steve must have a lot of good karma on his scoresheet. (Santa Cruz Zelcro, SC Seagoat, and a few others locally who are not ST participants, get some very high marks here along with Amy Jo).
Steve has enjoyed very much reading the comments here and on his Facebook page and expressed some regrets tonight that he has a hard time getting proper replies typed out. It is just a matter of time. He is on a great trajectory.

Mike,
Great news. I'm so glad the SCruz team is there for Steve. Being up on Skyline there's not a lot I can do except give him my best wishes.
Is Steve seeing visitors again?

Yes, he is seeing visitors and getting out. He has visited Pacific Edge to talk to friends at least twice already.

A great post from the Sacherer Cracker thread. NutAgain wrote: "Before I climbed it I had heard so much about the wide part up top that I didn't think about anything else. The thin hands in the first half almost killed me- definitely a proud onsight for me the day I did it, fully at my limit.
I still remember going through the crux with Scuffy's voice in my head from prior training sessions- it was like he was Obi Wan and I was Luke and he was telling me "use the outside foot Luke." That part went relatively easy for me."

Here we find a warm glow. It warms the heart.
The Love for Suffy is on the supertopo sleeve.
It also gave the answer to the question where did everybody go?
The answer sure seems to be answered by my favorite Collider Scientist,
Relatively Odd looking if the fur ball look is odd to you .
He now sports his own blog! I guess most of you do?
I'm to Oldschool this sitting around on the computer has led to my getting fat.
That and my needing to either sign up all around the web,at everyone's blog site. Or start my own? No that seems silly from Small Rock Hell.com?

Thanks Ed, seeing that video again brought a big smile to my face! Doesn't seem that long ago but it must have been a while because I have short hair and no beard, and there's a Brutus sighting.
I remember Scuffy working on that calf lock thing and I can't come close to doing it. My leg just doesn't want to rotate in that way!
