Idaho doesn't have many roads above 10,000', but I enjoyed this one late-August.

Hagerty, it looks like you got more than 4 months out of your tire.
My Wrangler was on its first off highway trip! :-/

NE Nevada
I camped near here. No visible lights in the distance at night. My kind of Nevada.

TT! Re that little dead lodgepole pine across the road into Boundary Creek. The beetle-killed trees in Idaho are turning into a real problem, as they fall across backcountry roads & trails on Idaho.
Worse yet, bark beetles have killed a bunch of our high-altitude Limber & Whitebark pines, which can be much larger diameter trees than those skinny Lodgepole pines.
I am now traveling backcountry Idaho with a chainsaw.

Fortunately we had a handy-dandy hand saw. We tried tipping the downed pine back down the hill but we couldn't quite do it.
