Wayno! Based on my most current info, which includes folks that will be camping with us, but following their own food wants, I suspect 25 - 27 each night.
I have not interacted with 11thworth & his friend, or Nutagain & his 2 teens, or Steve G. about whether they would like us to share in our cooperative dinner plan. No problem on my end to add them, but I need to know if they want to share our dinners and share kitchen work, appetizers, fine wines, & good beer?
That said: our two sponsored meals are set up for 25 - 27 folks and we hope for shared appetizers.
I still encourage folks attending to offer up appetizers----and fine wines or good beer, and to please help with our meals (after washing their hands at Mark Mason's foot-pump & soap hand wash system) ------and to also help every night with clean-up!

I talked to Lworth and Steve Grossman and it sounds like they are on board. Leaving in the AM and hope I make it in time to catch dinner. Somewhere on a fork of the Clearwater.

I am bringing mixed nuts as an appetizer - seems appropriate enough.
For the the beer snobs I will also have a few bottles of Terminal Gravity IPA: Wallowa county's finest ambrosia.

You're OK Mike,
Just wait till Almo to stock up on beer. I believe that Rock City store there in town is referred to as the best beer store in Utah tho its in Idaho.

Big Mike! The Utah State Liquor stores have a good selection of beers, including higher alcohol ones. The two best are in SLC. One is just off 3300 South next to a REI store at 3245 E 3300 S. The other is downtown at 255 S. 300 E., Salt Lake City.
Here's a link to state liquor stores.

But I do agree that the Rock City has one hell of a selection of beer and is also run by real pleasant people.

Sorry to say I will be Missing in Action. I lost my shuttle ride with Moose going down for the count. I just can't come without him. Wouldn't be right. Just wouldn't. Couldn't do it.

SC seagoat,
I know it's not the same, not allowed, absolumente pas possible...but if you'd like to hitch a ride with me I'm driving from Bishop on Tuesday. This misses half the fun, but I have campsite at CoR reserved for Fri-Mon after the group site. I'd love to have company and a climbing partner for the extra days.
Cheers,
Em
PS Also sad :-( for sidelined Moose. It won't be the same without him, but I suspect it'll still be wicked good fun.

No Moose' and 'Goat is tragic. I'll be drinking hard to forget the loss.
I'll have an ice cold box of California's finest grape blend as well as plenty of watery, inexpensive, American beer that assures "drinkability" as it's top marketing tag line.
Em, Looking forward to climbing with you again. You'll be welcome with GTrider and me.

And of course, the first night of our gathering at COR is: the SUMMER SOLSTICE, the longest day of the year, and also Father's Day.
Redundant coincidence?
Or the excuse for a good party?
OH, Oh! I forgot Big Mike took that photo. I likely should have suspected I hadn't shot the pic, since I'm in it. Thanks Big Mike!

Oh Em what a thoughtful offer. Unfortunately I will need to decline. I'm actually going through some dermatology treatments at the moment and I'm supposed to limit sun exposure so actually it's probably all for the best I lay low for a bit.
One of these years I am going to make it.
Have a wonderful time and I will look forward to the wild TRs unless there is a pact that what "happens there stays there."

I just noticed a closure at COR on their website.
Temporary Closure
Notice is hereby given that a section of Flaming Rock Trail (east loop) is temporarily closed to protect nesting Northern Goshawks. This closure includes the east face of Flaming Rock and east to and including Puzzle Wall.
