Aaahhhhhhhh . . . delicious . . . wonderful . . . my day is now perfect.
It is raining big, soft raindrops landing with little whooshes on my hollyhocks outside the window. Some land with a solid thunk on the deck. It is cool and the the crickets are singing. And I have dozens of beautiful flowers to scroll among and smile. Thank you all for your wonderful eyes and your generous sharing. Just perfect. How delightful. :)

My sister Lenna has done a lot of work (Ed's done a lot of work) on her deck. They live on Cedar Ridge near Twain-Harte, Tuolumne County.
I don't know if the deck's got a coat of paint in it's near future, but it needs one. At least it's solid.
