Heidi thanks everyone for the kind Birthday Wishes.
She got to wash her pickup yesterday. An Idaho Birthday tradition.
We will fill it with firewood for the OCAS SYNDROM folks attending the "Get-together."
The Sister's Group Camp is a pretty safe spot for a campfire.

Apolobamba--based on arrival?
Wayno, Marsha, & fine Italian wine have moved across the street so their dog can attend, but Wayno is still "Head chef!" with promised assistance from Heidi & me, & Brokedown.
Question on menu planning for those attending? Wayno wants to cook fine foods for our dinners, and brought up hot breakfasts too. I'm used to hot fluids and non-hot breakfast foods to speed-up the morning process.
Anyone have strong feeling about wanting hot breakfasts?
Also, sooner or later, we need a count on those wanting to eat Wayno's gourmet cooking for dinner, so he can figure food cost per attendee. Come late May or June, I will likely contact each attendee via email, but if you want to chime in now-----that's great!
If you would like to camp, or visit at the Group Camp: we do ask attendees to leave their pets and their small children at home, both for the safety of the small children & pets, and also to maintain a harmonious environment for all attendees.

Currently there are still 23 camps available at City of Rocks for the nights of June 23-26 and the nearby Smoky Mountain deluxe with showers campsite near Almo & Castle Rock State Park has 21 spots available. Both places will fill up!
Brokedown mentioned early on that water is not available out at Twin Sisters, and there is also not garbage pickup. No problem, since both are available at the main climbing areas a couple miles away. The water at Bath Rock is not great, but just up the hill by the Breadloaves is another pump with very, very tasty water.

Don't forget my neighbors, Moose and Mouse. I think Big Mike is going to share our site also.
Here is what I have so far regarding a menu:
Monday- Carne Asada, side dishes?
Tuesday- Pasta feed. Noodles, meat sauce, Italian sausage and mt.balls, garlic bread, Ceasar salad.
Wednesday- Pollo Verde. Stewed chicken in a green sauce, made into burritos with rice and cheese, or maybe some of those "kosher" pork riblets that Fritz mentioned.
Thursday- Elk chili and fixins?
I'm still working on it. Any suggestions?
I'm going to bring a couple cases of a variety of good and inexpensive Italian wines that people can try. I encourage people to bring their favorite domestic stuff so we can compare and contrast.
Peace Out.

Nothing sinister. It is folks that don't want the world to know they are off having fun at "The City."

Fritz, You have me on the group camp list, but I am staying at the cabins in Almo.
The menu sounds great. I am in for dinners but not breakfast. Once you figure out how we are going to pay Wayno, let us know. Maybe paypal in advance so he has the $$ to buy supplies?
xo and thanks for the organizational efforts

We won't be able to attend but just a heads up that the breadloves hand pump was closed (taped over with a garbage bag...maybe a water quality issue?) when we were there in september so the bath rocks water was the only option. Not sure if they've reopened it but hope so.
