Aactually just popped that on because Mike never got to stop in at the one yere in town. He went to the East Side instead, which happens to be the Dark Side, but only part of the day, just like yere. No, I had a righteous helping of liver and onions and yohoghrt after that Glorious Bloody Mary Lunch.

In and out of conciousness for 8 hours as I squirmed on the floor trying to get out of the closet, down the long hall and into my office to get the phone. Dark. No heat. Nobody knew I was there.
Wow Ekat!! This gets the tear ducts going Everytime I read it!!
I don't think she understood how dire the situation was with my leg, because she told me to wait til morning. So once the drugs kicked in, I phoned my 80-something dad at home and said, "Look, I can only talk to you lucidly for the next ten minutes or so, the point between where the drugs have started to kick in, but not too much. This cast needs to come off now, dude, and no one here believes me. Can you please come NOW and rescue me?!"
Wow. Thank you both. If you guys can survive and prosper, I'm absolutely sure I can!! My experience has been far mellower.
Bad pain isn't something you should have while healing, it slows the healing process, leads to chronic pain issues. I was fortunate to be well medicated during my back break. Morphine and percocets, they'll do you right. Get on the button, complain to your spine doc, whatever, you aren't doing yourself a favor by sitting there all tensed up and sweating it out.
You're absolutely right Jeebs. I'm stepping up the oxy and it's working. It took me awhile to convince them, but I'm feeling more positive about the outcome now.

The shower was simply the best of my life. I hogged it for forty five minutes!!
My occupational therapist John got me a sick new bed I actually fit in. And I slept like a baby for two and a half hours!!
Then I went The gym with my amazing physiotherapist Erica!!

It's good to hear you got your In n' Out. There's still the taco truck convoy anytime you're in the mood.
You look and sound as if you are in good hands.
Don't get constipated, B.M. and to keep from that, stay active as you can and try to wear yurself out & then sleep like a bear. And SO GLAD someone cared enough to get you a bed that fits your frame!
