Well here goes another one.
Some thoughts
This series is vaguely familiar, a bit similar to the epic Bulls Jazz Finals BITD.
Except it's a junior varsity version. Good ball by today's NBA low standards. Decent enough I can actually watch again.
We have A playmaking team and a team built on solid excecution of set plays. If we were to oversimplify. However the Spurs simply are not as consistent as the Jazz and ..well Miami.. Lebron ain't Jordan..he plays more like Magic cept he isn't as consistant or as competitive.
plus Miami is usually sproadic to non-existant on D unlike the Bulls who were simply vicious on D even on their off nights for shooting (which occasionally occurred)
Consistancy. It's just severely lacking in the NBA..The great teams of old had it. Although to be fair there really were not as many of those as one would like to think they remember.
Hoping for good play on both sides tonight. Lemme see something great.. that's all I ask.

First quarter both teams playing good D and O. Hopefully the whole game will go like this. Both teams playing well. A clutch -play game all the way so far.

Towards the end of the first half the Heat's shooting percentage fell off. Their offense can sometimes go flat real fast. Spurs D taking the offensive inside game away from Heat.
First half action was Tim Duncan. The big guy cruising in.
If he is healthy look for dWade to step up big time in second half.

Looks like the heat are going fishing...Andersen is going to work part time in the Stegasouras display at the Smithsonian....All over for the heat....

The Heat are such a bunch of whiners. But the NBA double standard was clearly
shown at the end of the third when James drove and jumped into Splitter's
chest and got the call. Splitter's feet were set, he was standing straight
up, and it didn't matter.
Pop is clearly the equal of Phil Jackson.
