The SS decided that Ted is not a threat. Lots of people say crap all of the time and if it is a vague meaningless IMPOTENT threat then the SS will look at it and let it go. They are not interested in rock stars hinting that the president is not his favorite guy. They are looking for people who might actually carry out a threat.
Like the human parasite that took Palin's suggestion to "Reload" and went and shot Gabby in Arizona?

Look, I think the guy has more than one screw loose. I saw him cruising the SHOT show a few months ago and could have walked up and talked to him but WTF for? He is a manifestation of how cheap our culture is in this country when such an extreme loudmouth gets media attention, but there is little coverage for a cogent articulate sensible person.
We are all responsible for the pandering to the "if it bleeds it leads" mentality though.
It wouldn't fly if it didn't sell.

"Hunting" over bait stations is not hunting, it's lame ass poser wannabe BS. Everything I killed from ten years old until I stopped hunting at twenty something ended up on the kitchen table. Hunting for food...fine by me, hunting for a "trophy" as compensator for your tiny, tiny penis...BS.

With hunting, Nugent has run afoul of the law before.
In August 2010, California revoked Nugent's deer hunting license after he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of deer-baiting and not having a properly signed tag.
Nugent's loss of that deer hunting license through June 2012 allows 34 other states to revoke the same privilege under the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact. Each state, however, can interpret and enforce the agreement differently.

I used to bow hunt a lot. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO GRAZE ANIMALS WITH AN ARROW. You don't take the shot unless it's a very, very high percentage (as close to 100% as you can get) kill shot. If you decide to take a questionable shot, you are a poor sportsmen and you deserve to lose your license for some time.

I wonder how much political pull Nugget has with Fish and Game... it appears he's got connections and i'm guessing he drops considerable amounts of sheckle into the local economies when his freak show goes on safari..,,,During his high profile stupidity shows , he has become a poor example for the American sportsman...With his inflammatory speech to the NRA , he has soiled the organizations integrity and once again displayed his above the law mentality...The great white hunter should be named the great white-trash poacher..

well to put the arrow-wounding thing into real perspective,,,HUNDREDS of animals are wounded every year by stick hunters. Many survive the wounds, some dont.Not ONE hunter i know ever punched his tag because he nicked a deer and it ran off...The system doesnt work like that and in fact the tags have to ID the animal through points of the rack, no animal, no ID, no punched tag.
Ron, my take is that there is a big difference between "nicked" "wounded" and "fatally wounded".
I "nick" myself often considering how many different ways I use knives.
But Good Ol Boy Ted wouldn't be taking a plea if the man didn't have something on him. Innocent people don't take plea deals, the system doesn't work like that. Well, belay that. VERY rarely, and high profile Ted and his man WAR certainly wouldn't do it if it weren't necessary.
