Better to simply take away government's power.

Yes, Chaz, you'd live happily under the corporate yoke, I know.

That's a government monopoly.

Bullshit! Of course corporations have SWAT teams. You never heard of the National Guard?

Chaz isn't here this morning. He was crushed to learn that his archetype demi-god pioneered the use of teleprompters. He's consoling himself somewhere with a kite.

So we're being "governed" by fools who can't count to four:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq-eeWow_WU

or five:

"PRESIDENT OBAMA: I-- you know, I haven't quite boiled it down to a bumper sticker yet. But I think what'll-- define 2012 is-- you know, our vision for the future. That's three words. Four.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: It's five, actually."

Who can forget the 57 State f*#k up?:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpGH02DtIws&feature=related

That's fuzzy math. No wonder the economy's in the toilet.

You can see, drunken Texas Governors don't have a monopoly on stupidity, and idiots who can't even count on their fingers do get elected.

Bush did slip up and reveal the GOP's true agenda once.

Wouldn't it be weird if we lived in a society where you could judge everything objectively and not cling to idealogies so we could actually progress? Where we could let go the fact that one candidate MUST succeed because he is on "our" team or that any action taken under the guise of a "peaceful protest" is justified?

Weird sheeet.

Something about too much climbing makes issues like this appear to be more gazing at an ant farm than an interaction with living, breathing adults.

Something funny happens when you get into your mid twenties, you spend your whole life thinking that grown-ups are in charge, then one day realize you are the grown-ups. F*#king scary.

Chaz.... there is a big difference between saying the wrong thing, and saying nothing. lol.

It's one thing if you say to someone "The three branches of government are the legislative, the judicial, and the... um, with the president... appoints cabinet members... its on the tip of my tongue."

If you are going to outline your plan but can't even formulate an idea of what you were talking about, geez. I guess you could chalk some of that up to stage fright? But it was his point he was making. Not somethign someone asked him and 'caught' him. No video of a democratic (or another republican...) f*#king something up will take away that he biffed it, hard.

case closed.... Herman Cain 2012!

I also have no idea who is running for the democratic ticket, does Obama get that by default? I am 20% retarded, FYI.

I don't even think this qualifies as a gaffe. It ranks well with the best of W.

Corporations don't have SWAT teams.
Back to this absurd claim two pages ago.
Obviously Chaz has never worked on a secure site run by a private corporation.
A few that I've worked at or otherwise seen up close
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Has a secure Uranium/Plutonium storage area. Guarded by UC personnel. Equipped and trained like a SWAT team, so I'll call it a SWAT team. They have that team for a Very Good Reason.
INEL (Idaho National Engineering Laboratory) run at the time by EXXON Nuclear. ditto
Lockheed - Martin Santa Cruz mts. They'll greet you at the secure entrance gate if you hang around in front of the security cameras for a few minutes.

Here is a website: http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/rick-perry-to-close-three-agencies-education-commerce-and-oops/.

There is transcript and poor video at this site.

I googled: rick perry three agencies forgot

It is a pretty painful video to watch. Now, I'm no fan of Perry, but I feel for him in part. We all forget things at times. BUT when you are running for the pres nomination, and you are telling which agencies you'd shut down, it seems that would be easy to remember. Shutting down an agency is a big deal. Also, in this debate, no one asked "what agencies would you shut down?" He went off on this tangent on his own after being asked a different question. Totally self-inflicted wound.

Nope, nothing needs to be changed. People can and occasionally do run against an incumbent president in primaries. Think of Kennedy against Carter in 1980. It's just the incumbent is going to almost always win, the challenger is going to look like a schmuck, so no serious candidate is going to do it vast majority of the time.
