What about the folks who lived in (or had a poorly timed visit to) Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Maybe God didn't love them?
Sorry for the thread drift, but why didn't US just nuke Tokyo and declare Japan the 49th state? A little too confrontational toward Soviet Union? We already were close neighbors with a territory to the north, what's the big deal with another bunch of islands? Or was it enough for U.S. to have a Japanese puppet while Sovietski Soyuz had a Cuban puppet?
Carry on with more recent conspiracy theories.

Uh nutjob,
ever since the Doolittle raid specific efforts were made NOT to harm the Emperor, although not for the same reason that we didn't target Hitler (who we considered his own worst enemy).
In fact Nagasaki was a last minute target change.

There was already nothing left of Tokyo.
Hiroshima was on the list because it was headquarters for the Japanese army southern group.
Kokura arsenal was the primary target for the second bomb. the Mitsubishi works at Nagasaki were hit when clouds obscured Kokura and after three passes they were running out of fuel.

Wrong. It was a plot devised by the Illuminati and elaborated and predicted in the Bible Codes and Nostradamus.

Naw... the real reason we didn't make Japan the 49th state is because we knew we, as a country, were really going to like sushi and we didn't want to bastardize the food before western sushi bars could make bank on it.

No it's because if we'd made them the 49th state they'd be broke too
and the Chinese would be the only ones left we could borrow from

So this latest bomb attempt was just part of the continuing 9/11 conspiracy? Ditto for Ft. Hood?
And Yemeni oil? Hey, dudes - check it out - we just spent two frigging trillion dollars securing Iraqi oil fields and copper mines for China; and that's with troops one the ground there. What the f*#k could possibly make you think any amount of cloak & dagger shennanigans, troops, bombs, or dollars poured into Yemen by our omnipotent 'powers that be' are going to result in any different outcome there? Particularly given China already has the place in the bag as its largest trading partner and Russia just signed a billion dollar arms deal with them.
If I were Exxon or Shell, the last people on Earth I'd want involved in Yemen would be the U.S. military/industrial complex and the incompetent, chickenhawk, republican buffoons who currently run that sideshow. Western oil company execs have long been brought up and honed in doing business with minor potentates, dictators, and thugs - why f*#kup a good thing?
Never has such grasping, bumblef*#k incompetence been accorded such respect and credence by so many densely clad people. I mean, how desperate do you have to be to think anyone could write a script this bad and play it out this pathetically? Conspiracy? Jesus, it's like you all went to see the "Dukes of Hazzard" and came away thinking everyone involved deserved an Oscar.
WTFU (Wake The F*#k Up) - China is laughing its ass off at all our cluelessness in the ME (and Africa and South America for that matter) - i.e. lack of strategy, lack of coordination, lack of execution, lack of simple investment, and lack of [national] will. We would do well to take off the christian blinders, get our head out of our Clash, stop babying the Israelis, stop flushing cash and blood down holes in the sand when Predators suffice, stop ignoring whole continents, and start playing the game like we intend to be vaguely relevant in 2030.

Jesse Ventura Talks New Show "Conspiracy Theories" and 9/11 TRUTH
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKdwWCFJ1aI
Several things are mentioned in this short video that prove that a new 9-11 investigation must take place.
Mentioned, apparently a high level member within the 9-11 Commission is coming out with a tell-all book. 6 out of the 10 Commission members say we don't know the truth.
I sure wish I had this TV channel. I would watch Jesse's new show.

This thread got me to watch Predator again.
What a romp!
Ventura is a trip and a half.
I'm sure I'd disagree with the guy over a lot of issues, but he has certainly earned my respect, and I admire his ability to reinvent himself repeatedly. He pretty much embodies the american notion of taking the ball and running with it.

You guys want a real conspiracy???
Did you know that CS Lewis and Alex Huxley both died on the same day and year as JFK, Nov. 22, 1963?!
Coincidence? I don't think so. Talk about the biggest cover-up by our government of all time...you can draw your own conclusions, I've drawn mine!
