RE: Today's excursion...

Just bvb and me (I hooked up with 'dweller after bvb left).

The results, "damn good thing it was secret".

No tic list or photos forthcoming, bvb was a fashion dissapointment anyway.

Darrell,

Johnny was bragging about you and your skills. "In a league of his own" I think he said.

Cragman, I'm a semi-retired Paramedic / Navy Corpsman, but I can call 911 as well as anybody else so don't call on me.

I thought about the event lasting over two days with a day to go home and those that think it's a bit too much. Well, here's what I came up with:

For those that have to "work for a living" you can come on Saturday. For those that can't come on Saturday, you can come on Friday. And, for those that don't work for a living or can find the time off for all three days, you can decide on whether you can endure both days of climbing or attend only one. Either way, whatever day(s) you can attend there will be something after the day of climbing that will make the day even more memorable, ie; slideshows on Friday or post party on Saturday. Then on Sunday we can all go home.

I think more than one option is better in this case. What do you think?

Although no pictures came out of today, here's one of the problems BVB and Beehay worked on. I took this photo back in the day and the some of the comments it produced are quoted below the picture. (rc.com)

"hey...that's my wife, circa '85 - 86!" - BVB

"You sure that's your wife Bob? If I remember correctly, this gal didn't seem to be a very accomplished climber when she stepped on to Lemon Chiffon that day. Isn't your wife hard core?!" - illusiondweller

"maybe she was out drinking the night before" - BVB

"She produced a great shot either way, thanks." - illusiondweller

"Bob, you sure that's Jocelyn. Doesn't she normally carry a bigger rack?" - curt

Personally, I like the options for the days. It's likely that Saturday won't work for me, whereas Friday, and possibly even Sunday would. Saturday as the primary day is still going to work best for most people though.

bvb/beehay - I wasn't really looking for a tick list from the excursion, just hoping for some pics to motivate/inspire. bvb a fashion disappointment? Not possible.

'dweller - for sure, they're great guys. But if you believe everything you hear, well, I have a bridge I'll sell you cheap. End of that story.

bvb, how long are you out for?

Here's another idea Gary. If my casa is too small for Sat. Nite Jive....could hold a Fri. nite live for those like DH that can't make Sat.

It's just an idea, trying to make the hospitality of Sun Diego work for all that make it down here. Peace and joy in 2010 .... a New Year that we all are blessed with. :D

O.K. I just got off of the phone with Henny and my direction from him is to "liven" up the thread. So, with those as my marching orders I got to thinking that we should consider Friday and Saturday as a warm up to get our tips in shape for the finale that will be held at Rubidoux on Sunday. This is where once and for all it will be decided "Who is Really Who in the Zoo"!!! Just writing this has already made me feel like the King of Beasts!!

I heard a "rumor" yesterday at some bouldering area in or near Santee that Henny might be warming up or sizing up Rubidoux today. Any truth to that? Kevin you might know if you talked with the ch.... I mean Henny today. I think he might be throwin' down some hardddd core training to get into the Woodson dig, like Darrel needs to train to climb well!
Peace

Okay, I think I got it now. Had to jockey it around a bit and in the process Beehay is moving back up. He scored a few points yesterday by nailing the center problem on Blasted Rock #2 so he deserves the promotion. Sorry F10.
