When I said I did it, I was referring to Kurt asking is anyone had done Farewell to Kings. I did it with a guy named Matt who I never climbed with before, though we share a few friends. Awesome day. Really fun guy to climb with. Don't remember his last name. As I recall the earlier pitches are where the more run stuff is. Once ya hit the crux pitch its pretty well protected to the top. Really fun Really really fun.
Now Steve I haven't done Coup de Gras. Any tales from that one? I remember looking down from Separation Anxiety and thinking that it looked reasonably protected, but some hard sh#t. I love that it goes up between Piece de Resistance and Heart of Stone.
Well you guys, if I go by your time schedules I've got a lot of time left to get up there!

How about that second pitch of Hemisperes!! My buddy and I rock, scissor, papered for order of leads and I was happy not to lead it. Fun route for sure.

Bob I missed this thread the first time around. And my last name is Ruppell. Man that was a rad route. I'll never forget down climbing after I missed the bolt on that third pitch. Have you checked out Burning since the bolts have been upgraded? I would love to do it but each year as I get older my brain either gets bigger or my balls get smaller. I haven't figured out which one yet.
Kurt and Steve thanks for putting up the stuff you guys did. It leaves a legacy of boldness for people to aspire to. It makes you rise to a level that somehow becomes greater than self. Rad stuff man.
