I hesitated, not knowing him personally, but getting to know him through shittalking here has always been enlightening. His climbing and writing go without saying, and the fact that he is a Bonanza fan kinda puts it over the top.
I don't eat 'em, but I'd fire him, a burger any day!
Edit; Dogtown, that shot has to have some foreshortening going on(?). I swear it was forever (the business) between the lip and the summit!

Just back from South America. Youngest daughter graduated from High School and is heading to Germany for a year. Oldest just finishing year 4 of med school. Don't know where they got their good sense from, but I'm grateful they don't know my black past . . .

I clearly remember the first time I watched you climb (Granite Mountains: 69? 70?). My impression that`day was that gravity wasn't a strong enough force to slow you down.
Here's hoping we can all hang on for a few more trips around the sun.
