Just so you all know. I prayed for you all. It is expected to read negative comments. The words of Christ "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." And thats what is happening with this age, and is happen right here on the replys. Which is expected. Just remember that, I share the words of GOD with you out of love and concern for you all. Open up your hearts and give CHRIST a try. After all CHRIST was beaten to a pulp for you! Thats how much he loved you! The bible says His Visage (The way he looked) was so marred (torn up) more than any man... Then he died on the cross. Isasiah 52:14
He shed his precious blood to wash away your sins...He was executed for your crimes and mine against GOD.
Using the name Apostle is not blasphemy. After all during the times that CHRIST walked the earth he preached to his Apostles and CHRIST told them when he leaves this earth for them to spread the word of GOD... That is what GOD is having people like me and prechers around the world do we are his Disciples.
Heres what JESUS says about blasphemy. "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come."
It's still not to late to repent... JESUS LOVES YOU...

Sorry everyone, with current events as they are, and based on my limited knowledge of the Second Coming, you'd swear it was any day now. Many devout Christians like apostle really believe in this prophecy and feel compelled to spread the Word and help 'save' their fellow humans. Please keep an open mind.
apostle, I know how you have to 'witness' before the Lord, but doing it here is really throwing napalm on the fire as you see in the resulting posts. The ST is very free-spirited and quite comfortable in denying Christ and your beliefs. Keep in mind that the climbing lot is very intelligent and favors substance over zeal. Spiritual dialogue and threads happen here but not a whole lot of outright preaching.

What does it matter that "The ST is very free-spirited and quite comfortable in denying Christ and your beliefs"
Will that slow the coming of Christ?
Edit:
Tell him to come on with it; I'm sitting here waiting for judgment.
Don't make me wait 'til Family Guy is on, eh, I'd rather not be interrupted.

I think that you should post a picture of you climbing or just a picture of yourself. If you truly knew and loved Jesus you would not be scared to do this. Jesus never hid behind a mask to spread his message. Plus, people might listen then.
I can give you detailed instructions on how to post a pic. It is really very easy.
1. create a photobucket account.
2. upload photos.
3. copy the 4th line of code in the box. When you put your GUI on the picture the codes will pop up.
4. Paste that code to your next post and put it in ( ). Or the pic will not post.

Going under the presumption that YOU are saved and others are NOT is an interesting concept;....you may be preaching to the choir;....actually, climbers, for the most part, are very religious and spiritual;.....If wilderness is my church, then we go quite often. Many times at the crags I hear..."God, that's beautiful..."....and then there is always the " Please God, don't let me fall here......".....
God is great, God is good, let us thank him for our crags. Amen. (And God bless Tiny Tim...)

Mimi. I just want to let people know that JESUS is coming very soon. When you have GOD in your heart you feel compelled to do his works. GOD doesn't want anybody to go to hell. Hell was made for fallen angels and satan. So being that I care for my fellow climbers, I have to share the word with you all.
John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him. "If you abide in My word, you are My disiples indeed. And you shall Know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Yep, another who speaks of Jesus but is too scared to really mean it. Just as I thought. You recieved clear instructions on how you could begin your repentence and prove that you are serious. I would like you to know that you really did just turn your back on Jesus by not doing as he did. Which was show his face along with his teachings. Not to hide and be underground. There were no cameras or internet, Jesus could have run off at anytime and lived as a fisherman, carpenter or hearder. You are a fraud. Cowards do not know Jesus. Coward.

I'm mostly a lurker here, but this thread reminded me of a website that I stumbled upon a while ago. Thought some of you might enjoy it.
The Rapture Index
My favorite quote: "You could say the Rapture index is a Dow Jones Industrial Average of end time activity, but I think it would be better if you viewed it as prophetic speedometer. The higher the number, the faster we're moving towards the occurrence of pre-tribulation rapture."
They claim that we're in "fasten your seat belts" territory. Sounds like fun to me!

I understand where you're coming from, apostle, just not here. Oh nevermind. Darn, I must find a pic of St. Sebastian.
Chaz, that place reminds me of a sandstone outcrop somewhere in SE Utah. Stan Mish and I were driving around looking for rock and we found this formation with a frontend loader up on a ramp off the ground with doors visible in the side of the cliff. We pulled up about 100 yards away and stopped to look. A few adults and children slowly filed out onto the ramp to stare back at us. Suddenly, a small pack of dogs charged down toward us. The three-legged leader was especially ferocious as it charged my little Toyota truck with teeth gnashing. It was all we could do to roll up the windows and speed away to safety. We often talked about this place in the desert and whether we could ever find it again.
