andanother...I guess that makes you just another jerkwad! Way to welcome somebody to ST. I have 2 degrees, working on a third, gone to 7 different colleges...and I'll be the first to admit that a degree don't mean sheet unless you do something with it. I have the utmost respect for those who are honest with themselves and can admit school isn't for them and make it on their own through hard work and determination without a degree in hand.
Welcome aboard JPT, enjoyed reading some of the highlights of your life. Thanks for sharing.

That's odd, when I google "Mighty Hiker" all I get is a bunch of hits from Supertopo...
Post up your letters to the editor MH, fair is fair...

Well, jpt, welcome to ST. Glad to see you actually climb- after all, this is a 'Climber's Forum'.
In between all of your inflammatory troll-a-thon posts, be sure to drop a little climbing commentary here and there so we know you are ok.
And when you get the chance, please explain your ST name- just for the record, it lent a lot of credibility to speculation that you are simply a rabble-rousing troller, and nothing more.

I just googled "Ed Graef" to see what might be seen - it was possible that it was a fictitious name. I was curious.
My real name is fairly well known here, but as with so many of us, I use a nom de plume so as to keep some semblance of separation between different aspects of my life. I have a fairly distinctive name, but those who can spell it properly would find 1,280 google hits under it - although I suspect many would be spurious. But I do do some writing, including some here, a lot for work, and some that is published - sometimes even for pay. Including a letter to the editor here: http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200510/letters

Way to step up the the plate Ed!
And welcome.
A lot of conservative thought calls for responsibility, integrity, and forthrightness. I always respect those who walk the walk even if they lose track of the challenges of those who can't.
Now we have some more human to consider in our discussions.
Peace
Karl
