Good job, Bozeman crew--glad you're getting some exotic stone time in, and am looking forward to slaying the pebbles when you make it back through/to the Batholith:-)

Looks like those guys fired off Last of the Gringos on St. Exupery. That route looks incredible.
Nice job, boys.

From the blog's caption: visible snow/ice alone is 1000m of climbing (that's El Cap).
This shot of the Supercanaleta reminds me of an Italian climber I met in Frey. Memory is kind of fuzzy, and his English wasn't all there, but what I recall: Three seasons earlier he and his partner were a good way up the route, considering bailing while hanging together on their anchor in bad wx when the anchor failed, piece by piece in quick succession. He lived, partner didn't make it. The season I met him he'd come back to Patagonia to try the Super again, but on arrival detoured to Frey instead.
Dim memory also says they'd had to climb over the frozen and inextricable corpse of a climber who'd fallen long before on that route? True, bad memory, or climber's legend? Can't say for sure.
