These are all working really well.
I think my favorite so far is the first Mark Powell shot.
It catches him in a pensive and introspective state.

You're blowing me away here! So nice.
I love Peter Haan all lit up.
I went into one of my social-overload introvert moods and didn't even show up Sunday. Missed a lot.

Very nice pictures - thanks! Looking forward to the remainder.
It's hard to get good close-ups of faces, and that your photos are.

Really good work, Dimes. I was watching you for those several days sneaking around with a group of cameras and longer lenses, gently extracting the essence of the reunion. It was fun seeing you operate. You are good and experienced too. We are all grateful for your efforts here. You certainly used the right lenses. I have been waiting to see this stuff!
As for Doug Robinson, had he not been in “one of (his) social-overload moods” he would also be pictured here had he not been off hiking in the buff. And he photographs really well too. I have to say that my all-time favorite shot of Doug is the Henneck one, the surprise nude one on Half Dome while he is in turn photographing Galen R. mock bivouacking in a hammock in broad daylight for Nat. Geo. See below:

Thanks, Peter. I needed that (again). Really, in spite of sensory overload I was doing fine that day -- got in some pitches on the holy stone.
Sorry about spilling your own wine all over you in my rush to give you a hug!

Wow, Kevin! I've got to add my kudos to your outstanding photos... Those portraits show a great maturity—granted, the subject matter lends itself to it—but you've captured a tremendous richness of life there!
Show us some more!

Dougie,
Honestly I had completely forgotten about the wine incident at the restaurant. It was actually awfully cool because it also depicted how wholehearted and good you are as most already know. I think it was all for the best, honestly
I hope you don’t mind my putting up the oft-published Henneck photo every now and then as it is ever-so hilarious and shoe-horned with meaning, involving the perspectives of 3 people within its tiny frame. Really unique image.
Yeah Robs, agreed. Not only does Dimes know how to shoot people and groups professionally but he also had absolutely the right longer lenses for it. His stunning and affectionate work turned out just as he planned it, clearly. He was pretty intense about it but completely unobtrusive. As I said above, it was way fun watching him go hunting us with his equipment.
It would be great if we could have more frequent gatherings such as this. As far as El Cap is concerned, the next “Fiftieth” would be 9/2011 for the Salathe; that’s two and a half years from now. Hopefully RR and Tom Frost will be around for that one, Chuck having left us already.
As far as Tarbaby is concerned, the man has the arcane power to interpret stuff like no other!!
best to you all, p.

Cripes, whut a grand relief you extend with that notion Peter Haan.
I'm in for that one.
Breedlove e-mails me about the Nose 50:
"I am sorry that you will not be there. There is always the Nose100."
I wilted into uproarious laughter!
But the strike against my attendance record won't happen again.
Oh...
bump**
for the Dimes.
Go Kevin Go.
