Living the dream!

Chaz you do realize that the statement about shoes was exactly correct right? Or after 7 years have you really bothered to learn not even the most cursory information about Arab culture?

So here's a thought. Nikita Khrushchev was originally from Kalnikova Russia, an arguably mideastern kind of spot.

When he, at the UN, famously, whipped off his ботинок (shoe)and beat it on the lectern and said he was gonna bury us, was that a further insult, what with the shoe, 'n'all, in a regional idiom learned in his youth?

GWB could come back and allow people a dollar a throw with a shoe, then donate the monies back to the gov. I'd be glad to help lower our national debt.

When all said and done, probably have a budget surplus.

My guess, nothing.

He'll be judged by his fellow Iraqi's, now that they are a "sovereign" country.

Throwing shoes at someone, or showing the soles of your shoes to them, may be a sign of contempt in one culture or another. Whatever.

I'm certain it's a sign you want to ding that person with your shoes.

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes.

Because then you're a mile away and you have his shoes.

I guess that's why they call him a lame duck.

Alright. Enough hilarity.

Mtnmun your innocence is in question, or was it just the Sunday

I hate to say this, but, Bush's commentary after the fact was pretty good.

How much did he pay the shoe pitcher?

I'm not so innocent Cornice Chopper. Bush and Cheney should be in prison for their war crimes for profits. They lied to the american people, provided false evidence for invading Iraq and their industrial war complex and relatives have made millions. Cheney at last report has made 51 million from this war through Haliburtan.

This week Bush had the balls to spin the decision to go to war on false intellegence other governments were relying on as well. Yes, well, we were providing the false intellegence.

Cheers

I haven't had the chance yet to hear what Bush says, but I can tell you this... I was at the bar, watching football, and when that came on, it was pretty funny... Bush is pretty quick, and he totally kept a smile on his face. What at trip huh?

That's nothing compared to the shunning he got at the G-8, not a single handshake among world leaders, check it.

The lowest insult, BTW is the throwing of the shoe - "from under my foot"

Still better for him than the hand grenade that was thrown at him in Georgia. Another spot he was greeted as a "liberator".
