Ah yes, the old trick of taking things out of context. Good one!

Jody, I thought the link that you provided covers it quite well.
Biden likes to talk and he talks a lot. Just like anyone else, he misspeaks sometimes. Obama, McCain and George Bush have also misspoken a number of times.
If I believed that Biden meant it to sound the way he did, he wouldn't be qualified to be VP in my opinion. If Obama believed that, he wouldn't have picked Biden has his VP.
Here is video of McCain making a similar "blooper" a couple of days ago. http://mpinkeyes.wordpress.com/2008/10/21/video-mccain-agrees-with-murtha-that-western-pennsylvania-is-racist/
Everyone makes mistakes when they talk. If Palin was giving lots of interviews and press conferences and occasionally misspoke, it wouldn't be an issue. However, the McCain campaign has so little confidence in her that they rarely let anyone ask her a question. They make her just give a stump speech over and over.
Edit: Jody, the quote you dug up was from almost 2 years ago. Palin was still a brand-new governa'.

How about a different excuse? The "taken out of context" one is waaaaaay overused, especially by Biden.

Damn Jody that was a master burn! I seem to be getting on your nerves. According to Woody, bluering and yourself that must mean I'm doing something right.

Yep, it was so racist, Obama had to pick Biden as his VP to punish him. Make him sit in front of the senate with nothing to do but the rare tie vote.

"How about a different excuse? "
No. How about we just stick with what I already said?
"taken out of context" might be overused, but what else can you say about this situation?
If it was taken out of context, then I'm going to say just that. If you don't want me to say that, then don't take quotes out of context. It's really that simple!
At least I don't pile on the makeup like a trollop, you c#&%!

The further back you have to dig, Jody, the less convincing it is. But you are comparing Biden to Palin and the timing just highlighted Palin's lack of experience.

Granite, how does that highlight Palin's inexperience?
Biden should know better, he had been in the Senate for 33 years at the time of the comment? If he hasn't stopped saying stupid things by then, will he ever?

Jody, if you come up with evidence that Biden conspired with some white trash campaign volunteer to fake an assault by an Obama look-alike as part of a Tawana Brawley style hoax in order to throw the campaign, then you can call Biden a racist.
Until then you are barking up the wrong tree. If you are worried about racism, look in your own backyard.

You are a MASTER of the quick and witty comebacks! How do you come up with those so quickly? Did you take lessons from Crowley?

Biden, McCain, George Bush, Clinton, Jody... everyone says things that sound "stupid" now and then and this never stops.
Are you having a bad day? You are not sounding very reasonable today.

It shows a pattern granite...it has continued.
Also, I am not saying he IS racist, just that he has "racist" stereotypes in his head.

Jody, of course there is a pattern. Let me copy and paste from my post above.
