Tiki-jer:
I vaguely recall a hole you describe. Interesting birds took up residence and glad climbers are respecting the nest, even reluctantly.
By the way, bird-climber co-existence is a big deal at Pinnacles National Monument and climbers there, thankfully, have adapted to seasonal cliff closures accordingly. Regulators are very sensitive to the issue, as are strong environmental interests.

Hi Tom, We were on Hawk Dome and saw her swoop into that hole.
Awesome!! Next time out I'll snap a picture and post it up.
Just to see if indeed it is the route.
Cheers,

Thanks, Mark. The bolts by Tom and Chris on Elegant Inclinations were not spinners! Good stuff - straight and plenty deep enough. Because the route gets so much sun and the bolts were placed in the 80s, they were not even all that rusty. But it seemed like time to upgrade them to 3/8" SS, so people won't have to wonder about the strength of the bolts, because 1/4" really vary in strength.

Sweet, I just got my Southern Yosemite guidebook. Fresno Dome looks pretty sweet, I've never been.
I'm real tempted to talk my wife into giving me some time off now (leaving her with the kid).
Of course the Shuteye looks sweet too, but I'll wait for Kev to take me out there, he's been itchin to get me there.
kick ass!!!!
