Indian Creek is fun, but I was sure humbled by the time I left.

Ooh, yeah! all right!
Were jammin:
I wanna jam it wid you.
Were jammin, jammin,
And I hope you like jammin, too.

Aint no rules, aint no vow, we can do it anyhow:
Ini will see you through,
cos everyday we pay the price with a little sacrifice,
Jammin till the jam is through.

Were jammin -
To think that jammin was a thing of the past;
Were jammin,
And I hope this jam is gonna last....

The desert is a truly amazing place. Particularly when it is in bloom.

very, wery, nice. And with all that, no Quarter of a man or 9 Lives. There is so much ahead...

"Are ALL IC cracks a minimum of 4” wide in flaring pods with roofs?"- sadly only a choice few... enough for a lifetime, anyway.

The only time I've been with a crag cat was @ IC, broken Tooth, kitty was under S.Q.'s care, rounded out the day, for sure.

Just about everyone here remembers their first desert tower climbing trip, no doubt. It's a whole new world, that first time. Looks like you had an outstanding introduction -- glad you shared your photos and stories of ups and downs.

Really fun, thank you for posting up!

I also thought I was going to rip out those pebbles on Ancient Art...pretty unique climbing out there...

bump to keep a climbing TR on the first page.

Cool TR! Looking forward to my first trip to IC, but not to the pain that I'll be enduring due to poor technique.

Pente is always on belay (and always on lead). That is for the protection of the critters (e.g., birds, lizards) and her own protection (i.e., coyote happy meal).

Here she is immediately after happy hour.

Oh yeah, before I forget, and speaking of Indian Creek, I really like 'Pente' for a cat's name.

I don't know how those ancient art pebbles have lasted this long, either.

BOB!!!! Gack! :)

Pente got her name because she has five big toes on each front paw. They are more like pedestals than feet really.
