sorry Jaybro... those are just my sexy black socks. Short sleeve shirt and zero neoprene on this one. Those first 4 minutes in the shower later that night were interesting. At least the pic is of my best side.

Ready to skate (trying to be more than a "wanna-be", but the pools know better).
Much more like it--in send-mode on a dolomite FA.

Jaybro-
That crack machine offwidth is just sick! That photo is classic, belongs in the Abu Gharib collection.
Hey, where was that last pic taken?

I guess it's time to join the party. I'm just really bummed I missed the sushi part.
Here's a recent photo, with me out in the garden with the Long-Eyes. The larger telescope tube (facing the camera) is the one used to discover solar system object 2004PX42 (in 2004), which was subsequently named "Johnmuir" by the International Astronomical Union in 2006.
This is the discovery photo of minor planet Johnmuir -- it's the faint smudge at the red cross-hair. It was last observed by the Kitt Peak Observatory (Arizona) in February 2007 and can next be observed from the Northern Hemisphere in late 2008/early 2009.
