I vote for Jody. Conservative climbers are a rare breed that should be celebrated.

There are a number of people who I feel could fit the discription of Super Topo Person of the Year.
However I feel that Roy truly has kept the spirit alive here on the forum and will continue in the future.
Cheers

Definitely the "George Bush".
Sorry Tarbaby, the bush and his bots had the most hits.
Maybe next year?

Looks like 1st place is locked up and well deserved. Tar comes up with simple topics that light up great chain reactions.
Gordo is close runner up, lacking only in quantity. Twins getting in the way of the important things in life....?

Ok, I'll vote for Tarbuster.
I still think when he bumped a thread that needed no bump, it was the funniest one word post ever.
Locker and I were laughing for 15 minutes.
Remember that one Roy?

There are so many reasons to read Super Topo and just as many people to make it so. I don't really feel you can single out any one person because of this. In fact, just like Time magazine a year or so ago, I think everyone who contributes to this forum are the Super Topo Person of the Year. It would be a pretty boring forum without the numbers and the diversity.

Hard to argue against Tarbuster. I'd place Jello a close second. He is not nearly as prolific, but is a great writer and has that same (Clean Dan-like) ambassader of good will aura about him.

This is a great thread!
All hail the Tarbusier Royale!
Having him at SushiFest, I will say that I was impressed with his kind spirit and generousness. He just shares himself so openly and seems to be stuck on seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses.
It would be funny to have another thread(not mess with this one) of "awards" though - some funny, some serious. And not that it should get voted on or anything. It could be like people know of a particular incident, and they create a category to support it, make their nomination and move on.(An example would be the "Best Thread Bump" that Tar did. I would like to see that one, by the way, if anyone has a link.... I love that kind of humor.
