This isn't a subject I would pretend to be knowledgeable in. I'd hoped to find an apposite bit of poetry, that would say something profound about this, but nothing came to mind.

It is a full moon tonight, visible even in Vancouver. It evokes memories of happy nights in the mountains, under the moon. Some romantic, but not all.

The thing is, people are very quirky and individual, so it's hard to generalize what half the people in the world want.
Some want kindness, others are looking for trouble. Some want daddy, some want to be needed.
Since some kind of romantic interest is implied in this thread, let's try to avoid getting too involved with dysfunctional twisted types and move on in relationships expressing our real selves and trying understand and bring out the real selves of who we're with. You see what combination of the two selves is.
But yeah, Respect, Honesty, Openness, and Sensitivity are basic and then some spice like adventure, sensuality, challenge and so on make it fun
