I kinda like that "pass the crash pad" idea cause it implies being laid back,
But I gotta admit, I have never even touched a crash pad in my life. I'm too oppressed by gravity and old age to boulder. Ever fall is a deck fall!
Now I gotta think of a Donny nickname to sign with. Any Suggestions?
Peace

Why would I want to talk to you about climbing or give you beta on this website? So CMac & co. can make a few more bucks off it with their MacTopos For Dummies? If you want to be a better climber get out there where the climbing is. If you want to talk about climbing get out there where the climbing is. A clue: it isn't here.
I'm starting to like the idea of having this site degenerate even further into a stinking miasma. This "place" cannot take the place of the base of a crag, the deli, a campground or parking lot. Every ethical discussion is worthless here. Any argument made that implies that the more experienced climbers' opinions should carry more weight is attacked as elitest. It's fvcking ridiculous. Some peach fuzzy gymster's opinions on bolts, etc. are as valuable or relevant as some old, grizzled world-traveling legend's? "Give us your beta and maybe some of your funny or scary stories old man, but keep your elitist ethics to yourself." Fvck that.
Please raise your hand if you have altered your views, in any way, on an ethical (or political) topic based on an argument presented in this forum . . . . anyone??? Didn't think so.
So bring on the political shouting matches and the slanderfests: at least those are more tittilating than reading about favorite ledges or stepping out of aiders.
I do like the pictures though . . .

Nice reply Loom. The other thing that sucks about this forum is that you can't verify someone's "resume" You ask a question here and three gumbies will tell you one thing and then Klaus will tell you another. Who should you believe...espescially when Klaus reminds you how light you are ?
