Congrats, Josh!
Thanks for the TR, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Gotta love friends like your friend Scotty, when you just never quite know what you're getting into when you head out with them.

Well, Lando, it looks like you answered Werner's question on the first page. How do you know Scotty?

Josh, congratulations to you and your partner and excellent TR. It definitely brought back memories for me. If you like to compare notes on such things here is one I posted a while back. http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=276906&msg=277447#msg277447
You led a hell of a lot of climbing man! I bet if you guys give it a go again, 12 hours. Yep, NIAHD (Nose in a Half Day!)
Thanks for taking the time to post up. BTW, you are a good writer!

I've gotta way agree with everyone, that is one fine trip report! A good friend emailed me the link, so you obviously have quite a hit there!

Hey Josh,
The guy next to me at the bus stop was playing your song on his Ipod.
See ya,
Z
Gypsy told my mother
On the day that I was born
You got a boy child comin’
Gonna be a rock-monkey-son-of-a-gun
Gonna text message all the pretty women
and turn their heads around
Then the world gonna know
He’s a El Cap climbin’ man
You know I’m here
All the passed parties know my name
I’m an El Cap climbin’ man
Everybody know
On the seventh hour
At the seventh belay
After the seventh penji
The seventh rock doctor say
Gonna text message all the pretty women
and turn their heads around
In the meadow they gonna know
He’s a El Cap climbin’ man
You know I’m here
The bridge people all know my name
I’m an El Cap climbin’ man
Everybody know

I posted up a revised version of the trip report that improved spelling, accuracy, etc. More importantly, it now contains the PICTURES! My friends helped me post on this website:
http://pullharder.org/2007/10/23/the-quintessential-scotty-vacation/
I don't know how to post the pictures on Supertopo so I'm just linking to the other website.

Josh,
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was great. My palms were sweating as I was reading. I did the Nose this summer (not in a day) and was reliving it with you and your bro. That 5.9 fist after Dolt Tower sucked but at the same time was great. I also remember being crazy ran out and thinking you better not fall.
Great Read.
