JB is and will always be THE MAN!
I went to Body and Soul with Steve Schneider to give it a go in 1986....
I went up and gave it a good go and chickened out @the roof. Steve went up and punched over the roof and got about 20' above, pumped out, whimpered loudly and took a massvive 50' fall! Then he chilled for a long time, went back up there and sent it! A very impressive day...!
That's what rock climbing is all about!

They say ev'ry man needs protection.
They say that ev'ry man must fall.
Yet I swear I see my reflection
Some place so high above this wall.
Dylan had it right and the same goes for JB and the Kid. Trial by fire is what climbing is about for me. You receive from alpinism that which you are willing to offer. Until your spirit has repeatedly blown your mind away on the sharp end, it is hard to appreciate what goes into these wild and airy gems. I never dream of sport routes........
Great job Lucho and James for keeping the flame burning brightly while you walk through the Museum of Thrills and Spills. You just never know what you what you might find out there but it will leave an impression on you that lasts. Pay attention to the pitfalls and trapdoors but don't miss the displays!

Trad will slowly be buried and die.
Sport climbing will rule the future.
Until in a far off time it will again come out of the ground a slay that soul killer .........

Me too, Kurt...But his spirit still moves the climbing world and we are very fortunate to have as much of him here on the ST as we have had. We are the keepers of the flame.
