We never know that do we - how long we will "last." I think is a good thought for all of us to always keep in mind. Tomorrow is promised to no one. What are we doing with today?
And you guys wonder why Lois is attracted to a climber's forum?

Lois, insightful analysis to Dr T/
But (your) checkmate on ~"just get out and climb": it's been almost 12 hrs for me, and I feel it!

I can't believe I read a post by Lois. What was I thinking? I am evidently bored.
I am amazed that anyone would give any notice to whats-his-name, as he is nothing more than a nameless, faceless and dickless detractor. Your credibility is only as good as your identity, so enough already stands around zero just now. That being said, I agree with him that Lois and ouch are occasionally tiresome, though the same could probably be said of me. But at least I post about climbing from time to time, and try to teach people stuff. You can say what you like about Lois, but at least she has the balls [er, ovaries] to have a real identity. Buddy is a coward to hide behind an anonymous identity.
Whats-his-name writes,
"As far as my choice of remaining remaining anonymous, well, any one who is dumb enough to post using there [sic] real email, and thus real identity online is in need of a wake up call. Its [sic] a brave new world out there kids. The internet is not a safe place. There are some crazy folks out there. If you don't realize how dangerous posting with your real name/main email is then i would suggest some online research."
Hi. I'll be your first test subject. I have used my real name and identity for ten years. My phone number and address are both in the phone book. Nobody has showed up at my doorstep unannounced, I have [unfortunately] not received even one nasty phone call, and nobody has yet stolen my identity [who'd want to?] On the contrary, I have met scores of new friends by being "real", and there is rarely a day that goes by in Yosemite when somebody doesn't come up to me and say hi because they recognize me from off the www. I am who I am.
Cheers,
Pete
