" What is the real extent of his injury?
Anyone know for sure? "

Serious injury do to a roll over avoiding hitting a deer on the way to Yosemite.

Rob, your lucky to be alive. I think positive thoughts for your recovery every day - heal fast my friend.

Sending out positive vibes for you Rob. I hit a dear coming home Yosemite a number of years back - I was alone and VERY lucky that it didn't turn tragic and I kept the car on the road.

I've had friends make recoveries from spinal-chord injuries - stay strong and you'll be back on an endless splitter hand crack before you know it.

We are all part of the family of climbers - you've got alot of brother and sisters that are behind you.

Take care,
Jason
