Jerry-
How did the climb go? Any pictures? I'll be out in the end of August and was thinking about this climb, maybe in the shade for the better part of the morning.
Let us know! thanks,
sling

We had the best intent to use all this great beta, then got wishy washy on our objectives, decided a wall would be more fun, and would help get our system dialed for El cap in the fall, so planned a two day climb of Leaning Tower, fixed a pitch and climbed the rest the next day, bivying on top, enjoying our wine! Took lots of pictures, but we've seen plenty of WFLT TRs here before, so I won't bore ya'll.
Have fun on SS. I'm still psyched on it!

For future searchers:
1. Don't go up the streambed. Back up 30 feet or so and find the trail that doesn't use the streambed. It get eroded up higher.
2. Some folks have trouble finding the base of the route. Insist on seeing the squeeze chimney with chockstone from the base on the first (sandbagged) pitch
Peace

When I did it there was some serious rock fall. Get up there extra early to insure that you're the first on the route.
