My guess is somewhere in the Gallatin Canyon--but only because of the crew involved.
edit: AWhit is pulling Batholith stone on the Continental Divide.

Totally Plutonic Dude (as in granitic batholith). We already have lots of Californians here in Montucky, so I'm sure one more who can climb wouldn't hurt.

Bump. A bit of Friday afternoon, and Saturday (both boring):
Awhit came from Bozeman by himself, so he called me up, and I took the kids to meet him:
Bouldering is actually one climbing activity that is safe and fun for the fam. They can be close by, on pads, and still experience the outdoors.
Adam, Tom, and Pat came up Friday night to camp and get after it. Adam hitting high-point on overhanging finger crack.
Pat seconding mojede's FA: Knees and Tips Dihedral
And nabbing a FA of his own (KTD to right)
Adam seconds--from new perspective:
TKingsbury finds his problem and commits, besting his bro on this one. Dustin on spot.

Tom will prolly put his on the Montucky thread Monday. Yeah, good times--I was sore, but my hands finally quit hurting. I may go exploring around during the mid-week; I'll e-mail you pics.
edit: awesome pro colors JD--thanks for showing us "ams" how to do it and give us inspiration.

Heh. Helps to have some cooperative (and strong) talent to work with. Kevin is impressive, as a person and a climber.

And he's strong enough to hang on those crimps and change his shirts. LAST OF THE ATOMIC POWERHOUSES!

We don't boulder, we rip flakes from walls.
Lance ripping and tearing granite flesh away from the mother stone. Sik strong.

I find bouldering photos atrociously boring for the most part. However our friend Dean Fidelman aka Bullwinkle has been known to take an interesting shot or two.... {wink}
