Pat Callis' nickname, when I knew him in the early 70's, was Gandalf (as in Gandalf the Gray). He reminded us Dirty Soxers of the Gandalf we pictured in The Lord of the Rings with his tall lean frame and sharp pointy beard.

Glad to hear he's still out there!!

TKingsbury is one poster I really miss. Always brought pure climbing content and a good attitude. Hopefully he is doing good.
