I was in the Teton climber's camp that summer and knew Ed there. I was invited to go as a third on the Symetery climb but decided not to join them. I remember bouldering with Ed the afternoon before the climb on Cutfinger Boulder.

Impeccable writing Don! I love your style! Sorry about Ed. If only I could have given him some pin pounding lessons, but alas, I probably was not even born yet!

Ojai,
Didn't even remember doing that route until someone brought it up a couple of years ago. Not much to say about it ... Yvon suggested the area one morning in Ventura and we just drove up and climbed the first interesting thing we found. We didn't name it. Don't know where the name came from and have no idea how anyone other than us knew we did it.
Now you help me.
