Remember when that person posted looking for women to be models for porn on an outdoors-y type site? Maybe that is your perp?
You guys are all laughing this off, but I doubt any woman who finds her photo used like that would be laughing. What makes you think any of the pictures you've posted of your own wives, sisters and girlfriends hasn't also been linked in similar ways?
I really feel bad for the woman who's picture(s) has/have been used in this way. She has been victimized - or doesn't anyone get that? I know I would feel very much in pain to find someone had done something similar with a photo of myself.
And the photographer, who does have a professional reputation to uphold, has also been abused. He's lucky that his family recognized that his image had been stolen and brought it to his attention. It's not hard to imagine someone might come across a similar situation and, thinking something else or being embarrassed, choose to say nothing while forever believeing something untrue.
It's probably very difficult to find out who posted that picture to a pron site. But if you do - I hope you will out them. Let those who aren't "thinking" about the ramifications of such actions become aware. F*#king creep.
Edit: I just reviewed and see that "Standing Strong" didn't post; it was someone else mangling the username.... Not really funny. I deleted the comment I made pertaining to the "real" S/Strong.

Happie's got the point here. As tempting as it is to chuckle about the Gradma angle, imagine if a) These were your photos, and b) They were of your daughter.
Since I'm not a photographer I relate to b) and that means jail time or worse as far as I'm concerned.

Odd coincidence then, isn't it? And even more odd that crimpergirls photos were there. I doubt it's a coincidence. And why would a non climber sign in as "eastside" and post climbing photos. Simplest answer is probably right.

Well, Jerry.. and others.. this is actually a real crime. Now that we have the internet, we have internet crimes. There are some standard strategies to use to discover identities and prosecute internet theft and its become a regular part of police work. So it's not too hard to find out who eastside is as well as the computer he posted from, where he lives and works, what his driver's license photo looks like, what's in his bank account, who he owes money to, and how much he paid for that latte yesterday...
And thanks to happiegrrl for a reasonable response to this seriously hurtful act.
