This should be a fun game, given all the usual hype about Cam Newton versus Peyton Manning. I'm naturally pulling for the Broncos, since they have an old goat as quarterback. We geriatrics have to stick together...

talking to a fedex dude yesterday, he was saying that every delivery to super bowl is been re-checked by dogs and then escorted with guards to proper delivery areas
its going to be a combat zone by Friday

I've got an idea. Let's build a stadium, 60 miles away from the city the team represents.
But at least let's make sure there's no public transportation or other viable infrastructure elements such as hotels and restaurants in the vicinity that might make the experience pleasant.
That way, we can set up a Superbowl City, complete with roving homeless people barking orders to an imaginary parakeet, no where near the site of the game.

I'm about 10 blocks away from the stadium. Security has been high in the air, lots of air traffic by LEO. Unmarked gray choppers I assume are DHS, never seem 'em locally. And Moffett Field is right down the street, home to the 129th Rescue Wing, see lots of their choppers.
Blue Angels are in town too! Saw them landing at Moffett on Thur/Fri.

Has anyone yet forwarded the theory that the NFL's decision to abandon the traditional Roman nomenclature for Arabic (read 'brown-skinned') numerals to represent this year's entertainment for the masses is just another capitulation to non-Judeo-Christian mores and values and has been directly mandated by the godless (or Muslim!) Obama administration, its lackeys in the MSM, and the MI complex?
If not, I got dibs.
And I fully intend to use the word 'sheeple'. Liberally. (Get it?)

Why didn't they accept the inevitable and just call this one Super Bowl LOL?
My astute analysis finds that the game will hinge on the Denver secondary's ability to cover
long enough for their linebackers to get to Newton. Of equal importance will be the ability of
Denver's O line to give Manning 4 seconds. If he gets 4 seconds and their twin running backs
are even moderately suucessful they'll be partaying in Denver. Arm yer stopwatches!

They used to say defense wins championships. Denver may be the best defense..unfortunately Panthers defense is no slouch either.. damn good actually.
So the (near) tie-breaker here is Offense.. and that clearly and by far goes to the Panthers.
Once again I'll be hoping to be proven wrong like I was a couple weeks ago.
