Just now seeing this, very sad to hear it.
I met Peter in the '80s at Stoney Point. He was my favorite person to run into and climb with out there. Funny, fun, smart and interesting guy.
We stayed in touch until about 1990, then I moved out of the area, sounds like he did too.
RIP to a good one.
