My first day Rock Climbing, 1975 at Rubidoux top roping the 5.5s on Joe Brown Boulder
All of a sudden Largo comes by and just walks up this classic boulder problem "Power Pack 5.11" sans rope at Rubidoux in his Alpine "Super Galibers" (he was planning on going to the alps), but he was doing his usual trolling at Rubidoux looking for people like me that would get inspired to make rock climbing a life style that the Stone Masters laid down.
Well it seemed absurd to me, just walking up to a 5.11 and all, so what was the plan from now on.. work on Power Pack until you can hike it just like Largo

I'm so F-ing skinny that I get Cold when it's below 65, being from So. Cal
And drinking a cold JIB makes it so that I have put on several extra layers of underwear and jackets, etc..

Ran into Russ the Fish at the "CliffHangers" Pig Fest couple week ends ago. One great line after the next. Had us gasping for air. If he comes to the Meadows and does his gig we'll need to bring in the O2.
