Nothing lingers quite like butthurt, does it?

Maybe cat pee in the carpet, but that's probably it.

Elcap! Thanks for leaving your posts up. I agree that the overall trend on ST of late, has been of less interest to many who have long felt part of the ST community.

I was pretty inspired about ST for the last few days. Seemed like most all the schist had fallen off the front page. Of course that ended yesterday.

Schist rises.

To the OP,

I hear you man. I don't post much anymore for the same reasons.

That said, you're a class act in my book. You offered me a car last year for crying out loud! Super kind of you, sorry it didn't work out, as it would have been great to tie in with you.

If I'm ever in your area,or you're in mine (NH) we should for sure climb something.

Best,
Brandon Mayo

Gonna miss you ElCap...

Sometimes you think the toenail fungus is under control and then wham....it pops up again.

I too, like some other posters mentioned, thought we had entered a renaissance for a bit there ... short lived, dang.

For me, it just boils down to creating a mental filter, letting the stuff I don't care about wash away without a second thought, while still being open to receive the good stuff. Having this ability makes it easier for me to be friends with a diverse set of people too.

Yo, Chief, right on. I find it telling how so many are falling all over
each other to help slather on the Preparation Butthurt while totally ignoring
the threads about the outrageous new route on the Troll Wall or the LA Times'
article about Sherpas.

ST gets steadily more domesticated year by year, and the wolf pack gets gradually replaced by yapping lap dogs.

Kevin, LOL.

Yeah, a lot of crap on the Taco Stand, but it is worth it, IMO.

I do not click on the political threads anymore. But I do other non-climbing threads if they interest me.

ELCapIYA, sorry to see you go, but in a way, are you not giving in to the village idiots?

Just asking. Best wishes.

Sorry to see you go Elcap.

Supertopo does not work if you read all the posts by everybody, IMO.

It's best for me, if I just scroll down and look for posts by people I respect. There are a lot of people on here, who post quality sh#t, and who I want to read.

For some reason, this site also attracts many brain damaged morons who love to respond to every subject, no matter how small their knowledge base on the subject.

Those folks are easy to ignore. I always read your posts and appreciate your perspective or opinion. Thanks man, happy travels...

one of the reasons that the forum should have been divided into on topic, and off topic threads. Not that hard to do.
