the other day i called paul
and left him the asinine message:
hey paul, its chuck.
i'm about to onsight rope solo roofer madness.
wish you were me!
i proceeded to fall off numerous times
and retreat from the intimidating 10c pitch.
a couple days later i'm milling about
his yard throwing the ball for cedar
and he asks about the message,
and then he asks how i did on the route.
i got spanked, bad, paul.
and then i admit that i know that he free-soloed that thing once
