Ryan,

I am no Rockies expert, not even close.

I am pretty sure you are on the right track with regard to loose rock that freezes together. With that said I think people still get stuff done..

Idk about the official part. I'm a wanker I guess..

Ryan, sh#t yeah we would. I would say we can start a new sport of ice bouldering, but you squamptonians already have that on lockdown. The bottle of whiskey is key for warmth, right?

Please, ladies and gents, more Rockies pics pretty please! I've climbed there a bunch years ago--all moderates and classics--and in 2012 my wife and I and our faithful hound did a cycling trip from Jasper to Mexico and got to see those grand peaks again from the main roads. Oh, those are some awesomely beautiful mountains. Nothing quite like them in the USA--and Glacier has no glaciers, so it doesn't really count.

Jim & Malemut,

Help me keep this train rolling. You clearly have the content. I have a feeling Bruce K might have a bit to offer also. If so post that stuff up.

Tbh I had to take move everyone of these pictures from a flicker account to my email one at a time. I then had don lids them one at a time to my computer. As if ghost was not enough I then had to rotate every single one of them before I could then upload them to ST.

Gives me a whole new appreciation for trip reports!

I could just be computer retarded, no I am computer retarded but still it was a lot of work. Pitch in if you have the goods buried somewhere?

Ok googled..

All I can say is there is not enough time in this life to waste any of it painting the house, mowing the lawn or sitting on the couch. I'm sure later life will provide plenty of opportunity for all that.

All I can say is wow, and thank you!

OK, most if not all of my Rockies rock climbing pictures tend look like another hard day of work in a gravel quarry but i managed to find 2 reasonable representations of what passes for quality there

That sums it up perfectly!!

Unsuccessful 1980 trip to climb a new route on Alberta. Miserable weather, but still one of the most stunning and rugged cirques in the Rockies.
